I asked her two questions today regarding the availability of cars, and the way she answered was beyond disrespectful and rude, she literally yelled at me and my husband for no reason. I have never seen anything like that before. I ignored it an left as quickly as I could, but someone like that in the front desk is definitely going to make you lose customers...”

“We reserved a car for 2 days and requested full size, got a Chrysler 300, very nice. However, in this time of COVID we expected that this car would be cleaner than renters in the past. That wasn't the case. Halfway through the trip since we were headed into the sun we had to stop and purchase Windex cleaning wipes to get the windshield clean. It took like 6 of the wipes. The car was so filthy on the outside that you could see our finger prints across the back of the trunk. We have local drive through car washes for $4 for gosh sake. Then during the clean up for us to turn in we found other items from the previous renters - no contact door opener, hand sanitizer etc. Well by then, we had spent two days in this car and feel that we were put at an unnecessary risk. Remember, this is the time of COVID, take a minute and get the car ready. I don't expect this too much to ask.”

“My experience with Dollar at Norfolk International Airport was top notch! I flew in from the west coast to visit family and needed an SUV. I reserved a Nissan but it wasn’t available. However, I received a 2023 Explorer which in my opinion was even better! The features it had made me comfortable enough to not miss my Genesis at home ?. The agent at the counter made the entire process seamless. I went from baggage claim to Dollar to my rental in less than 10 minutes! The pick up and return was nothing short of white glove service. Dollar Rental will be my preferred choice from now on whenever I travel to Norfolk!”

“Avis has been my preferred rental car provider for 25 years! Reasonable prices, always have a good car.I was in a 2024 Nissan rogue, and the only tricky part was, it was not clear how to put the car in reverse. If you happen to get one, there’s a little button on the driver side of the gearshift that you have to click first to put it into reverse. Everything else was great! I checked the glove compartment to see if there was a user guide and there was not but luckily I googled it.”
