Tamera (Manager), who was working by herself, was the nicest and checked me in for Sunday, since they didn't have any cars for Saturday and it was busy. They get my car in and out pretty fast and they don't hassle you about having them fix things that they notice need to be fixed. And I love that they have this link that they text you that then you can go into approve or decline services that they offer or suggest.”

Yesterday July 31st 2024 I visited Patriot Auto Sales located in Norfolk VA. I had been financing a vechile for almost two years. I needed something more spacious so I contacted Jason. He reassured me that something that will fit me would be available once I’m ready. I must say , he was correct! I was afraid that my insurance payment would be a bit beyond my budget. Jason searched around for a more affordable rate. I am very pleased with my purchase. I truly appreciate Jason for going above and beyond. “We reserved a car for 2 days and requested full size, got a Chrysler 300, very nice. However, in this time of COVID we expected that this car would be cleaner than renters in the past. That wasn't the case. Halfway through the trip since we were headed into the sun we had to stop and purchase Windex cleaning wipes to get the windshield clean. It took like 6 of the wipes. The car was so filthy on the outside that you could see our finger prints across the back of the trunk. We have local drive through car washes for $4 for gosh sake. Then during the clean up for us to turn in we found other items from the previous renters - no contact door opener, hand sanitizer etc. Well by then, we had spent two days in this car and feel that we were put at an unnecessary risk. Remember, this is the time of COVID, take a minute and get the car ready. I don't expect this too much to ask.”

“Counter agent Ardellia did a great job. Our flight (along with MANY others) was diverted to ORF due to t-storms in the DC area. Another car company failed to honor our car reservation so we walked up to Avis. The airport was total chaos. The agents kept it together despite the endless line of rudeness and stress being thrown their way by other customers. Ardellia made a difficult situation manageable and I appreciated the competency.”

“My experience with Dollar at Norfolk International Airport was top notch! I flew in from the west coast to visit family and needed an SUV. I reserved a Nissan but it wasn’t available. However, I received a 2023 Explorer which in my opinion was even better! The features it had made me comfortable enough to not miss my Genesis at home ?. The agent at the counter made the entire process seamless. I went from baggage claim to Dollar to my rental in less than 10 minutes! The pick up and return was nothing short of white glove service. Dollar Rental will be my preferred choice from now on whenever I travel to Norfolk!”
“Hertz was efficient, and that's what's needed when you are traveling for business or vacation. We rented a midsize car, overall a nice vehicle. It could have been a little cleaner, for example the decent pile of sand in the trunk and
(my husband's pet peeve) a very dirty windshield. We really liked the fact that even though we arrived early in the a.m.,to return our car to the Norfolk airport, a Hertz employee was there as we parked an able to check the vehicle on the spot. We had plenty of time to catch our fight.”
