“I have been sewing for about a decade. I have a ton of vintage and antique sewing machines that I have been able to repair myself. I'm pretty handy like that. Recently, I had the opportunity to buy a Bernina Artista. It worked well until I tried to do a simple zig-zag stitch and was just getting one single row of straight stitching. Computerized Berninas are not something I feel comfortable trying to repair myself. I decided to bring it in, having never been to this place. While there, the young man at the counter filled me in on what I already knew about the temperamental, outdated Artista. He recommended a used Virtuosa they had for sale. It was very fairly priced. I knew I needed a daily machine that I could just use with no problems or fussiness. I went back and bought it because after trying a Bernina, you really don't want to use any other brand. The stitch quality really is the best. It's not just hype. I just have no plans on dropping thousands for on of the new Berninas. I have used my Bernina Virtuosa every single day, since I bought it, 3 months ago. I am so glad I went in. It has given me zero problems.They also have a ton of QUALITY thread. I learned early on that cheap thread (from Joann) is not worth the spool they wrap it on. The sewing machine shop has Metler and Aurofil and I don't have to wait for an online order to come in or try to color match online.The prices for sewing machine service are very fair. I will continue to rehab and repair old machines myself, because I love doing so but for all Bernina-related service and accessories, I highly recommend this place.”

“Nu-Vac is the only place I will bring my vacuums or electronics to because this man who owns Nu-Vac truly cares about what he does and is a Christian who is serving The Lord with his work and his service to help people. He is very honest and charges minimum for his labor and he always goes the extra mile...he walked me out to my car on the street when I brought my vacuum in for repair and he carried it all the way to my car to escort me back so I would be safe and not have a heavy load! Such a gentleman--not a lot of gentlemen around any more! I really appreciate that he is a dedicated worker and that he serves the Lord faithfully and honestly. Thank you--I highly recommend him and it took him literally minutes to repair my vacuum while I waited! Thank you so much Nu-Vac. “My wife dispatched me to find a good, solid washer and dryer to replace our deceased 30-year-old artifacts. "Let's try local," she suggested. Boy, did I find out why this was a great idea! 30 seconds after walking in, John smiled, I repeated my directives to him. No hassles, no confusion. 30 more seconds and the answer was clear. "Tomorrow ok for delivery?" Price was right. The next afternoon, all was done.There was a touchscreen on the dryer which my wife surprisingly didn't like. I returned to John. 45 seconds later we selected a tactile version of the same basic washer. Similar price. "Jose will be there about noon today and swap it out." That's exactly what happened. Jose's attitude was engaging while his hands were nimble, and by 12:15 all was done. Wife's happy, so I'm happy. Zero hassle. Zero struggle. No nonsense. I thought about what an ordeal this could've been dealing with a big box store. "Well, we need to arrange a pickup and call you sometime next week. It needs to come from the warehouse in Kansas City." Would I have save anything? Certainly not, especially valuing my own time and peace of mind.There's a reason they've been in business forever. Repeat customers, of which I will be one for sure! Oh and no," we'd really appreciate a nice review."”

“During the fall of 2020, we needed appliances for our kitchen remodel at our home in Marin. We found Appliance Leaders by doing an online search for the appliances we wanted (Dacor and Miele) as we prefer to support local businesses.Shawn and his team were very open, warm, and gracious; a welcomed experience especially during covid. Shawn was very honest and informative when responding to questions we had. He was fully engaged, and clearly understood our aesthetics and needs which made him effective when showing us different options. We felt at ease, took our time looking around (we brought our dog too!), and didn't feel pressured to purchase anything. Ultimately, we selected 4 Miele appliances, a Dacor hood and range, a Dacor freezer column, and a Dacor refrigerator column. We left feeling good about our purchase, and to date have had no issues whatsoever.Three years later, we are now remodeling our kitchen at our apartment in the City and immediately thought of Shawn! When we saw each other again (this time we brought our now 2 dogs!), it was like no time had passed! This time we purchased a Thermador refrigerator, Miele coffee machine, and Miele dishwasher.Appliances are an expensive commitment, and I cannot think of a more better person for guidance and expertise than Shawn. Not only does he provide a level of personal service you will not find anywhere else, we trust Shawn like family and in fact, consider him family! We are happy to, and will continue to support Appliance Leaders!”

I've bought a few stoves and fridges from them for rentals and have always been happy. They communicate well and are on-time with deliveries. I'll be going in later today for another washer and dryer and will continue shopping there for any appliances we need.”

Patty helped my understand the difference in quality/value and advised me to choose the right grill - even if the price was less!Delivery? No problem! Mike delivered the grill to where it belonged and spent the extra time to unpack it and set it up! He told me some great baseball stories, too!!I'll probably never need another grill (this one should last a lifetime) - but if I do I'll return to Diablo Grills!!”

He came exactly when he said he would & he Fixed it within two minutes . No more overfilling and it agitated now.I asked why all the bad reviews. He explained that he has a second job and he’s not always at the store. So call his cell number that he gives you after he installs/ delivers the appliance. Not the store!He’s actually a cool guy. “I'm not a contractor. I'm a homeowner who had an idea for a project. Sure I got a few things on amazon, but honestly I needed some items and I didn't know *what* I needed. I didn't know the name that I was looking for and she brought me around to finally end at the backdoor gates and referred me to Christina.Both were very professional yet friendly. “I had the mind-numbing task of making my elderly father's kitchen functional: sink, faucet, instahot thing, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and garbage disposal. My dad and his wife don't agree on a single frrakin' thing. They even fought which kind of faucet. So, compromises had to be by me. Poor home depot design associate, Cathy Stoik, was caught in the middle. What fabulous human being! Cathy worked with me through all of it. I cannot stress enough how wonderful and kind Cathy was through the process. I think she went above and beyond what most sales associates would have done. If you need appliances go see Cathy!”

“My wife and I have undertaken the daunting job of upgrading our home.The first thing on the list was our kitchen appliance suite.We shopped many stores and purveyors of appliances... and I mean MANY.Our first replacement was the refrigerator. We found that this HD store and its service, personnel and subcontractors, stands apart.As indicated, we shopped refrigerators and ended up back at this HD store. Our decision was a result of selection, the sales personnel and after sales service.We purchased the refrigerator and it was installed. We were totally pleased.We then, a month later, shopped for a dishwasher. Once again, shopped around. Ended up back at this store. Again, totally satisfied.Stove/oven, same process. Done.Clothes washer, busticated. Same process, ended up at this store..... more to come... Later.”
