“Top notch, old fashioned customer service. My new dryer stopped working and a repair person arrived to fix it within an hour! (Yes, you read that right. One hour.) The repair guy was very competent and helpful.I scored a very nice dryer and fridge from AHA. The prices were great, but what really blew me away was the ability to deal with people who remember me, who answer their phone without a robot phone tree, and who get issues fixed immediately!(A few years ago, I paid full price for a range from **a different major retailer**. When that needed manufacturer warranty service, it took me a half hour on the phone to schedule an appointment for 3 weeks later! Nah, dog.)I will be sending everyone I know to AHA for appliances. The store manager, Alx, is hilarious and a very easy person to work with.Edited to add: Bring a flashlight with you when you shop so you can examine items thoroughly. It is a "dent n scratch" seller. The items tend to be in very good to excellent condition, but you want to be sure about what you're getting. They offer their own one year warranty on everything they sell.”

“I'm not sure why the page says they're closed but I just called - 510-200-7126- and they said they're still open. I've bought a few stoves and fridges from them for rentals and have always been happy. They communicate well and are on-time with deliveries. I'll be going in later today for another washer and dryer and will continue shopping there for any appliances we need.”

“This place is a hidden gem! I urgently needed some kitchen supplies for a renovation mixup, and everywhere local was out of stock, or didn't have good options. I found a great sink I needed on their website, and realized they had some in stock at the San Leandro location. I called to find out if they were open to the public, and they are! Everyone from the operator, to the sales person, to the people at the front counter were all so friendly! Great options from lower to high end, and well worth the drive out there. Highly recommend.”

“I came to buy some wood for a project with a friend. Mind you we are women and not contractors so finding what we needed was difficult. At first it was impossible to find help- we looked soooo confused. Finally an employee named Bryant came to the rescue. He helped us figure out where the things were that we needed made sure we picked out the best wood to our liking, he was very patient and helpful. He loaded our cart and cut the wood. Our experience wasn't looking so good at first but Bryant came and totally changed the situation. Thank you so much- great job!”

“For a HD, its pretty good. You've got to know what you need, and use their app to help you find stuff in the store. When its busy its tough to find help, but that again is HD. I like this location better than Hayward or Oakland. We visit a couple of times a week for the Oakland Zoo.”
