“I stumbled upon this place through my client and glad I did. I’d much rather support a small business rather than go to Lowe’s etc. I have bought a few plants from Kenzie who is extremely helpful and has the cutest plants.I noticed my monsteras started to get infested with thrips. I headed over to lucky garden to grab some supplies to tend to my plants. I spoke with the owner Natalie and told her my issue. She took my over to the product and how to use it. I only sprayed a couple days ago but so far so good!Def would recommend this shop for needs :)They are all amazingly kind as well”

“Don't expect any fancy and slick setups here. But they have a very nice selection of drought tolerant plants among many other garden plants and trees. The nice lady was very warm and inviting and seemed to know all about the different species. Seemed very open to referring other nurseries if they do not have what I was looking for. Everything is priced very good. Only wish the plant card info was updated as many are faded by the sun. Definitely would check here first before anywhere else.”

I love shopping here when I need to pick up any home improvement items. I will say the one thing that I don't like about home Depot is the customer service of the availability of the associates I feel like I can never find anyone to help me when I need to find a specific item more staffing would be nice other than that everything else is enjoyable when visiting here.”

“I was at Home Depot Hesperian, Hayward, today looking for a backdoor gate. I asked an employee doing her job, named FATIMA, she dropped what she was doing and immediately took care of me. I didn't know the name that I was looking for and she brought me around to finally end at the backdoor gates and referred me to Christina.Both were very professional yet friendly. “I had the mind-numbing task of making my elderly father's kitchen functional: sink, faucet, instahot thing, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and garbage disposal. My dad and his wife don't agree on a single frrakin' thing. They even fought which kind of faucet. So, compromises had to be by me. Poor home depot design associate, Cathy Stoik, was caught in the middle. What fabulous human being! Cathy worked with me through all of it. I cannot stress enough how wonderful and kind Cathy was through the process. I think she went above and beyond what most sales associates would have done. If you need appliances go see Cathy!”

“My wife and I have undertaken the daunting job of upgrading our home.The first thing on the list was our kitchen appliance suite.We shopped many stores and purveyors of appliances... and I mean MANY.Our first replacement was the refrigerator. We found that this HD store and its service, personnel and subcontractors, stands apart.As indicated, we shopped refrigerators and ended up back at this HD store. Our decision was a result of selection, the sales personnel and after sales service.We purchased the refrigerator and it was installed. We were totally pleased.We then, a month later, shopped for a dishwasher. Once again, shopped around. Ended up back at this store. Again, totally satisfied.Stove/oven, same process. Done.Clothes washer, busticated. Same process, ended up at this store..... more to come... Later.”

“I have been doing business with Devil Mountain for 20 years . I am a licensed Landscape Architect and a licensed general contractor. I'm also a licensed landscape contractor. This Wholesale nursery is for licensed contractors only. If you do not have a contractors license, you are not allowed to purchase from Devil Mountain . Any ( non contractor ) leaving a bad review here because they were disappointed by the customer service is not leaving a valid review. I have worked in the Nursery industry. The customer service work is a huge part of it. I spent long days answering questions to homeowners about plants. Devil mountain is very clear upfront that they are not a retail Nursery. By doing this they are able to focus on Licensed contractors, and Landscape Architect like myself who are consistently doing significant projects. When I read a review like the one left by Raylee saying that she called there for free advice about nematodes in her lawn, it makes me wonder if she realizes that the person who answered the phone may have been working on the order that I needed pricing for. Devil Mountain is not just a nursery. It is a brokerage. If I communicate with them in advance they can get me anything I want. Other people leaving reviews here saying that their prices are the same as Home Depot might want to try emailing the Home Depot three weeks in advance with a very specific plant order specifying the genus species and cultivar and see how that works out. Devil Mountain is not perfect but as a business owner, I have a lot of respect for this organization. They've got their act together, and for the most part, they are very dependable for professionals like myself.”
