“This bank was, from the beginning that I was looking for references, the first that was recommended to me. I am a new car buyer and my interest and down payment for my first car was too high at the bank that had the loan. Of all the banks I looked for, I put all my trust in this bank, the day I finally made the decision to refinance. I went on the first occasion for information but I was not very satisfied, then two months later my credit score increased a lot and that was when I decided to take the final El Paso! Thank God and also to Salvador, the man who treated me with great respect and wisdom I managed to refinance my car at a much lower payment than I expected and at the lowest interest rate that this bank was offering in terms of refinancing. I hope that in a few months the interest in general will drop a little more to refinance again. But I am very happy with the attention and service that was given to me. “I'm from Sacramento and recently moved to Salinas for work. I was amazed that I could make a phone call to the bank and a live person would pick up the phone. In sacramento you get a call center and have a difficult time getting in touch with personnel from the bank. I was able to get in touch with Andrew and he's great about calling back. He scheduled me a meeting quick and broke down the details of our accounts to help us understand how we could save $$$. At the conclusion of our meeting he upgraded our accounts and had great conversations. The staff is personable and attentive.”

“I personally have found this bank to be very efficient, friendly and fast with service for all mytransactions each and every time I have been in there. However, I asked one teller for a few withdrawal slips as I like to write down how much I want and in whT denominations so I dont have to say it outloud and let people know how much money I am carrying out with me! its a safeguard I like to follow, but he told me I should just ask for what I want. So did not give me what I asked for. However, It was probably my fault for not explaining why I neded them and he probably thought it would save me from having to fill it out all the time. The very next time, the teller was filling one out for what I wNted so I asked him for some and I had no problem getting them from him. “I've come from a big bank where they just see you as a number unless you are a private client. I have been banking with Penfed for a few months and i'm the type that likes to go into a branch and speak to someone in regards to my account than handling such business over the phone. Everytime I walk into the branch, I am treated with genuine excellent customer service and I never feel rushed. Any questions or situations I need assistance with that I do have, the representatives at this branch are quick and efficient in assisting me. I'm an older millennial and understand that online banking has a time and place but some things are better off in person and that includes building a banking relationship. The two representatives I have had pleasurable experiences at this branch were Alyssa and Desiree. I would give 5 stars but Penfed does need to improve their seemingly antiquated system to compete with the bigger banks and improve customer online banking user experience.”

425 Main St, Salinas“This is my first time at this branch. Upon entering, I was able to speak with a teller that directed me back to a young lady about setting a new account. I was assisted by Jose E who helped me open an account. He was super cordial and explain everything that I needed know. I feel that this is going to be a good relationship over my last bank. On a side note: This branch is super busy and they have multiple new accounts representatives and loan officers that are able to assist and at least four to five tellers on the line. The bullet proof glass windows are impressive.”
