“I LOVE the xformer machine (it's by far my favorite) and there's only a few studios out here that use it. MPX was the closest studio to me so I tried them out first, and I'm so happy I did! I love their class format and their instructors! Granted, I've only taken it with one instructor so far but she's incredibly talented - she's patient, kind, mindful of everyone's differences (in terms of level/comfort/strength), explains proper form and how to engage different muscles (e.g., if you want to make an exercise more quad dominant vs glutes), and never forgets if there's someone in class that has a limitation and/or needs a modification due to an injury. I've tried a few other studios around here and the only thing they have over this one is better packages ($savings). If you can afford to splurge a little, choose this studio (sign up now!). I promise you won't regret it.”

“I have been taking classes from Kelly (HIIT, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing, Spin...etc) for years. I am the type that needs the class to be fun, filled with good music, and throw in a few laughs. Her classes check all the boxes, and the group/community there is a huge bonus. She is great at encouraging you to push yourselves, but the classes allow you the flexibility to dial up or down the intensity based on your comfort level or how you feel that day ;). I highly recommend giving this place a try. I find fitness is important for the health of your mind and body. I leave my classes here feeling like I have achieved both.”

“IMPACT is a great kickboxing gym for all levels. My husband I joined a year ago with different experience levels (I have a black belt in taekwondo, whereas he was completely new to this kind of workout). Both of us have grown over the past year thanks to the instructors at IMPACT. They're all really friendly and knowledgeable! “Hands down the best CrossFit gym I have ever been to besides my home gym here in Chicago. I visited as a walk-in last week and loved HGX so much that I came back for a second class... while on vacation, no less. I had Jazmin and Julie as my coaches during my two visits - they were welcoming and gave me excellent feedback on form. The broader HGX community is also incredibly friendly and diverse in profession, age, race, culture, and CrossFit levels. “I joined orange theory about 2 years ago and started off with 4 classes a month but quickly upgraded to the unlimited membership because I feel in love with the amazing workout and most importantly the supportive, fun and comfortable environment the staff and coaches create. I have never been a fan of working out and could never find the motivation to reach my workout/health goals but ever since I started going to orange theory I have been highly motivated and look forward to going. I also want to add that Ive been to several of the different studios but the Redwood City location is by far my favorite because the staff is always kind, accommodating and I love all the coaches and their fun music. I am always trying to get all my friends to come here and they all feel the same way!”

“I've been working out here 4x a week for the last month from around 9-11am. It's basically always nearly empty, which I love. They have all of the barbells, bumper plates, training plates, many squat racks and lifting benches and all of the machines I'd consider using. If you like to lift it's basically perfect. The environment is more chill and personal than a. Corporate gym but less pressure than a personal training only gym. I have been doing the semi private training which is ideal for helping me get back into lifting after a 10 year break. I didn't know what semi private training is; it's not a class, it just means they get you all set up and check in form and help with workout design and check in on you several times during your workout and see if you have questions and are using good form but they aren't hovering over you every minute of the workout (which I did not like from personal training in the past.) there are personal trainers and their clients from time to time and they seem to have fun but that's not really my thing. I expect that in 6 months or so I will have a solid foundation and will transition to a regular gym membership here. It's great to have that flexibility.”

“What a great place! I was recommended this gym during some travels and glad I came to get my workout in. Not only do they have all the equipment one might need (including turf, a sled, even a designated area for med ball throws), but they also have amenities (lockers, showers, sauna, ice bath) and small touches around the space that show someone really had their clientele in mind when putting it all together (reusable water bottles ready to use, towels). And the environment was the best part! It was so positive and the entire team was professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks everyone!”

“9Round itself is an amazing way to stay in shape and learn the basic fundamentals of kickboxing. In and out in 35 mins with a great workout - what else could you ask for?That being said, the staff at the Mountain View location are what make this location specifically so special. Starting from the top with Brant (owner) and working the way down to the trainers (Sumit, Melisa, Dylan, Jo), you couldn't ask for better people to spend 35 mins a day with.Great workouts. Great people. Clean environment. This place is great!”
