“I have collected Steuben Glass for 50 years. Occasionally chips and deep scratches occur. One of the most valuable of my pieces suffered a major chip at the corner. It is one of a pair, so the chip really affected both pieces. I could not see how this damage could be repaired. I searched the Web for Steuben repair and found Michael Bokrosh's studio. Our conversation gave me great confidence that he would find a solution.He told me exactly how to pack the piece. A few weeks later Michael called to describe his solution, which I didn't completely understand until another few weeks, when the piece arrived. It's hard to describe what he did without a photo, but I was amazed and actually thrilled. He created matching angles that not only removed the chip, but improved the design. Without comparing it to its twin, not even a specialist could tell that it had been repaired. It looks great when placed next to its twin. Michael's work is equal to Steuben's own design and execution. His Studio probably looks a little like Steuben's. I am examining each piece in my collection to find any imperfection, any at all, to send to Michael to make as good as new. One can engage and trust Michael to erase most any flaw in a piece of crystal. He must have spent at least two days on my project. His charge was entirely reasonable. This is my first posting to thank and commend any artist or indeed any person who has done work for me. Thank you for reading this testimonial.”

“I love this place. I've used them on several occasions over the last few years and every time their customer service is excellent--they treat me as if I was a friend coming over for a visit. Typically I pack my own packages but with the crunch of the holidays, I didn't have time to find a box, buy tape, etc. So today I asked them to do it--so fast, so easy, and very affordable. And the wait is typically very short, if any (today there was no wait). Definitely recommend The Mailbox.”

“I went there because the previous passport photo I got from Wallgreens was rejected. The lady there was very friendly and professional. She made sure my head position and hair were all good. About 20 minutes later I received the digital copy. I tried to resize it to meet the requirements but it didn't work. I relied the email asking for another version so that I have more room for resizing. They replied in a couple minutes and I got another version that I was able to make work. I really appreciate how responsive and flexible they are.”

She is a great small business owner with empathy, ownership, and customer obsession and willing to listen to customers. I would say that my not very pleasant experience turned out to have a happy ending as I think we have a trustworthy UPS store owner to support our neighborhood. Appreciate it.==== The following is my original one-star review===I cannot believe about the horrible experience on my packages during this holiday season at Lakemont UPS shop. I had 2 critical identification document shipped to me on Next day Air and I requested them to be delivered to the Lakemont store for pick-up because I can’t risk the packages to be left at front door. They were shown delivered on 12/26 1:19pm on the tracking so I went to pick them up. A store assistant named Taylor checked the computer and said “we don’t have them, they were not delivered, you need to call the 800 numbers, we are just store not UPS, we don’t know anything”. I asked if he could just check in the back to see just in case. He showed no sign of helping but arrogance and yelling. I was lucky to talk to the UPS driver who delivered my packages right outside the store. He was so nice and helped me go to the store and ask again. Guess what? They found my packages. Even with the fact, Taylor didn’t show any apology of mishandling my packages and providing wrong information. In the meanwhile, I want to thank Eddie who is really helpful and found my packages at the end, also to the UPS driver who stepped for me and ask/check the store again.”

“My introduction to Sip and Ship at its Ballard location occurred in 2012 when I found myself in need of professional help to ship a rather large painting with both monetary and sentimental vallue to an East Coast address. Much to my relief, the staff at Sip and Ship was up to the challenge in preparing the art work for safe shipping and timely arrival.Based on that experience more than 10 years ago, I have continued to rely on Sip and Ship for a variety of shipping challenges and the occasional need for expiditing personal communications by email or fax or obtaining notary services including witnessing by staff members when needed.I have come to realize that Sip and Ship is much more than a business for shipping services but actually a hub for finding that special message card or perfect gift for almost every occassion as well as taking that much needed interruption to the daily grind by enjoying your preferred brew of coffee or a delicious homemade pastry at the coffee bar at the rear of the shop. “I went in to pick up an order that hadn't actually been sent, but to determine that, one employee did a thorough search of all recent orders-- on the shelf and in the computer. Work resent it with a pick-up date for the next day. I confirmed with another employee to make sure the order was really in this time, and they said, "I think I can save you a trip back. Can you wait 15 minutes while I print these for you now?" After a frustrating day, these employees showed such kindness, compassion, efficiency, and work ethic that it turned my day around! “I stopped in to purchase a chair mat on 2/3/24 around 5pm. I had a 15% off coupon from a recent Amazon return, but forgot to bring this paper, and it was about to expire. The young woman who assisted me provided fantastic customer service that is rare to see. I asked if there was any way to look up my coupon and while there wasn't a way to do this, she went across the store and asked the Amazon returns person what she could do to help me out. She returned to the register and saw a small line of customers had formed. She asked if it would be okay to ring up a few transactions while we waited for her coworker to come up and I agreed. I was impressed that she was considerate enough to ask me first and then proceeded to offer proactive customer service and efficiency to those who were in line behind me. She did a few brief transactions and then made a point to come back and assist me. Her coworker didn't show up yet and when she asked another coworker, he suggested that she just find a way to give the discount. She was resourceful and quickly found a way to enter the discount. On top of that, she thanked me for being patient and even gave me another coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase! I appreciated her willingness to help, her consideration, professionalism, positivity, and her sense of humor (about not forgetting this one at home)! Interactions like this make it so nice to visit a store where you can find what you need same-day and the staff are kind, too!”

They are very good with last minute print jobs, and are far cheaper than Kinko's or FedEx. Since they are a part of a non-profit university, they don't mark their items up crazy amounts like they do. I come to Supercopy for all my printing and shipping needs.”
