“Husband doesn't like to tuck in his shirts so decided to give this company a try. Went to Pentagon City mall early Friday afternoon and met the most Outstanding salesperson, Thomas. I have not experienced a professional, attentive, knowledgeable person who not only knows the company but the product, in such a long time. He explained the various fabric selections. He explained fitted vs relaxed styles which helped us decide on whether or not to go up a size. We decided on 2XX Relaxed. We purchased one shirt in store but the other shirt and size we needed was not in the store so Thomas ordered it online and had it shipped to the house. Oh!! And they offer a military discount (just ask!!). I found the experience to be pleasant, no pressure.”

“Normally this Macys is average to me. I went in today looking for a present for my boyfriend and it was hands down one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had (and I shop all the time). I believe his name was Alex he was working in the men’s section. He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect gift. He even went as far to go in the back TWICE to help me find more options and he tried things on for me to see the fit of things. This location unfortunately didn’t have the exact item i was looking for so we printed me out a list of stores that had what I was looking for. He was so genuine with helping me, which is hard to come by these days.”

“I recently brought in MW custom suit pants (i will not go to the one in Alexandria again) to have a pocket repaired. I received the "come get it" email a few weeks back. When i checked the store hours today Yelp indicated they were open until 7pm. When i arrived at 6:30 they had their holiday hours posted that they closed at 6.No problem. I was there late, technology is great, but we have all worked retail and this happens. One of the staff happened to be leaving so i asked if i could pickup my pants anyway. After confirming there was nothing to be done but pick them up, they brought them out. They didn't have to, i would not have had any issues with that as they were closed. However they saved me the hassle of having to drive in again. I didn't get anyone's name, bit it was the crew working the evening shift on 12/17/23. Merry Christmas and thanks for the help.”

It's easy to shop around and find selections according to what you're looking for divided by sections. The associates do come and help you without you asking for them to help you with some people may like or dislike but I appreciate that I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in.”

“I have a broken foot and was accompanying my female friend and as soon as I walked in, I was invited to sit on the couch and relax by Sudi, which was incredibly relieving after not being able sit at any other store. Aubrey then handed me an iPad so I can shop from the couch. These very kind women treated me like a king, thus moving J.Crew to the top of my mall store power rankings from the perspective of a ‘shopping assistant’ and ‘outfit evaluator’.
