“TLDR; I hurt my back in August 2022 and was immobile for almost four months. When my physicians cleared me to exercise, I used a Class Pass to take Pure Barre Foundations at this location and had the great fortune of meeting Katie. Right off the bat, she made me feel welcome and gave me a ton of modifications to use until I felt more comfortable.My first class was in January 2023, and I went 1-2 times per week, starting slowly and asking for help if I felt any pain. I signed up for the Breaking Down the Barre classes, which helped me understand which muscles I should and should NOT be using for each exercise.In addition to my back, I also had neck issues and could barely turn my head over my right shoulder and have had wrist problems since I was a teen. As the instructors got to know me and my issues, they helped me get through each class, so I still got a workout but did not hurt myself.As of today, Barre has almost eliminated my back problems, my neck turns all the way over both shoulders, my posture has improved so that I don't see my shoulders in my peripheral vision anymore, and I can do real pushups (modified) without hurting my wrists.I have been doing Pilates and Yoga for years and took those classes as well, but I truly think that the isometric tuck used in Barre helped me build back my core muscles and took the pressure off my back, neck, and wrists. This location has fantastic instructors who really got to know me and helped me feel super comfortable learning the exercises.”

“This family-run business does a good job of fur repair, maintenance (glazing), and cold storage, at a fair price. I brought them a vintage mink jacket that I'd inherited from my grandmother. The other companies I'd brought it to had tried to talk me out of repairing it, as it was in very dry condition, sun bleached, and prone to tears and shedding. "But wouldn't you like a nice new fur coat [for only $10,000]?" Not really. L.A. Moves gave me a fair price for the repairs, which they did, but then I got really busy and left my jacket there for three years. They took care of it and charged me a discounted rate for the storage when I returned. They also made me think about wearing it more, since it's short, which was helpful, because I'd been thinking you only wear furs to special events. Most importantly, there is no more shedding or tears (though I'm very careful with it now)!”

“Husband doesn't like to tuck in his shirts so decided to give this company a try. Went to Pentagon City mall early Friday afternoon and met the most Outstanding salesperson, Thomas. I have not experienced a professional, attentive, knowledgeable person who not only knows the company but the product, in such a long time. He explained the various fabric selections. He explained fitted vs relaxed styles which helped us decide on whether or not to go up a size. We decided on 2XX Relaxed. We purchased one shirt in store but the other shirt and size we needed was not in the store so Thomas ordered it online and had it shipped to the house. Oh!! And they offer a military discount (just ask!!). I found the experience to be pleasant, no pressure.”

“Normally this Macys is average to me. I went in today looking for a present for my boyfriend and it was hands down one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had (and I shop all the time). I believe his name was Alex he was working in the men’s section. He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect gift. He even went as far to go in the back TWICE to help me find more options and he tried things on for me to see the fit of things. This location unfortunately didn’t have the exact item i was looking for so we printed me out a list of stores that had what I was looking for. He was so genuine with helping me, which is hard to come by these days.”
