I sure do miss the small store from across the street and so do a lot of the older folks that have a hard time making that 2 mi walk from the vegetables to the eggs. The world might think about toning it down just a little bit bigger is not always better. I'll only go to the store when I absolutely have to if Aldi's does not have what I'm looking for and 90% of the time I don't need to go to HEB.”
“This location was open when everyone else was closed. The clerk who came all the way from Liberty Hill was kind enough to let us in at 7:45 ish when she was trying to close down just so we could get some groceries for the next few days. Thank you thank you ??”
“I don't know what it is about HEB, but sushi is always on point at every location. I mostly come here because I am one of their FAVOR runners. This location is really nice too and big. Staff members are super helpful when I need to find items for an order for a customer.”
“Marcaya forgive me if I misspelled. Did an amazing job dealing with more than 10 customers by herself even after calling out on her radio and asking for help at which point the other woman went out for a smoke break, this happened today and I was very upset with Marcayas coworker for not helping then coming in with attitude towards Marcaya. Pls get this worker some help...”

1301 W University Ave, Georgetown“I love this store. And want to keep it in business because all of their produce is organic and they have certain things like relish and pickles that don't have any added chemicals preservatives or dyes and they're not as expensive as Whole Foods. They have gluten free and dairy free options and they sell ancestral blends meat. All their meat is frozen which I don't prefer and it's the most expensive food item in the store - too expensive to buy weekly but as a nice treat. Their vitamin and health selection is wonderful. I get sinus vitamins for my kids, homeopathics for bed wetting, nerve pain, etc and atrantel which is a the best digestive aid and I can't find it anywhere else. Their teeth and skin and body care section is over priced so I rarely will get anything like lotion shampoo toothpaste etc. they sell incense and some off brand oils. I really appreciate this small store and it's focus on health. They don't even sell alcohol which for alcoholics can be very helpful to not see rows and rows of it when trying to buy food. I appreciate their integrity. My kids love the healthy chip options that are DF/Gf and banana bites and fun things HEB and the like don't have. I deducted a star because some things are expensive and I've often smelled marijuana in the bathroom from employees”
“Great prices on basic items. My only complaint is they haven't had ground lamb the last couple of times I've been, and thats usually an Aldi "must have" every trip.”
“I was very surprised to see so many mela kits. So much variety and they all looked delicious! There were a few different takes on familiar items from other locations that looked delicious- the butter lemon dill shrimp cocktail was calling my name! They did have a few issues with some of their paper coupons working and that caused for a long holdup in the checkout line but other than that I really like the products this location has to offer.”

Robert in seafood department was great selecting the size lobsters we desired. Packed them for our trip back to Fredericksburg. Tee in the self checkout helped us by standing at our side as she had to override the computer each scan as computer didn't understand we weren't going to put them in a bag. Great customer service all around, congratulations on an epic experience!!!”

1021 W University Ave STE B3, Georgetown“I really like Targét (is that how we spell Tar-jay?). It is massive, clean and has a little of everything. To that point, this Super Targét isn't the supermarket size grocery store their Wally World competitors are. No deli or bakery. But they have a good spot of fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, frozen items, beverages etc.Their clothing selection is massive. The hardware area is not as large as their furniture and appliance selection. But all are tidy, well-stocked and competitively priced. It is a well executed Targét! So, why four stars? It's logistics.I and every other human buys food more than clothing. Yet there is only one entrance to the store...if you want to hike past clothes, cosmetics, gift cards, kitchen appliances, pharmaceuticals and school supplies to get your tomatoes you're good. But if you weren't up to a mile long to-and-from grocery buy you'll be at the two-entranced Wally World, HEB, Randall's, et al.”

Maybe a little more money but will shop here because of the friendliness of the staff, food selection, good coupons and daily deals, senior discounts on particular days, and cleanliness in the store.”

Outstanding breakfast....especially the sweet cream pancakes. Do NOT miss this little hole in the wall....best kept secret in Georgetown.”

They've always been helpful, considerate, professional & speedy considering the huge customer populations they serve at each store.Today, I called because the prescriptions ordered upon my hospital discharge for kidney stones weren't all due to be available for a few hours. The tech who took my call immediately understood my need & pain level (anyone who's had kidney stones can relate) & put a rush on the meds. I know how busy Saturdays are at HEB, especially my awesome Williams Drive location. So I truly appreciate that she responded so kindly. Only an hour wait for pain relief.I love my HEB. I really do.”

620 S I-35, Georgetown“This is the cleanest and nicest Walmart I have ever been too. The parking lot is very busy, but people in the area seem polite, and let you cross into the store without fearing getting hit...a little slower pace. Amazing selection. Was a nice experience shopping.”
“La Plaza is a local Mexican oriented market south of Georgetown square. I love coming here in the morning for barbacoa and pan dulce! The line for food is always long but definitely worth the wait and prices are fair. For a pound of barbacoa, you might be paying about $20 which is about $1.25 an ounce - very fair considering you get tortillas, salsas, limes, cilantro, and diced onions. Other than that, it's a great spot for Mexican groceries including dry goods, produce, a bakery, meat/seafood market, and awesome Mexican candy! The store is always clean and I love walking in and smelling the boot leather, it reminds me of actual grocery stores in Mexico!”
