“Shops like this you go for the service. The one on one personal touch. The proprietor gives the very effective vibe of a clockmaker. Right down to his sleepy demeanor, soft spoken tone, and friendly. Yet his meticulous, delicate touch with watches are juxtaposed to his Father Time nature. While watching him work on my watches, he gave jewels of wisdom on watches, their movement, and why they can sometimes break. I was there for over an hour, but to be fair, I came in with fifteen watches. Most just needed batteries, a couple needed repairs. So I can't say if it was pricey or not because of the quantity lol. However, I feel he's better served in a small brick and mortar shop littered with exotic clocks and time pieces, all ticking in unison. But that could just be me. Instead you can find this adorable vendor inside the heb on Palm Valley”

Please only buy their ready made foods for emergency meal needs only if you can.”
“Good selection and handy location. I particularly like the fact that they have a gas station and a secondary register near the pharmacy side entrance. That comes in really handy when you just need to pick up a couple of things and are parked on the Greenlawn side.”

“This is a typical convenience store, with gasoline, beer & soft drinks, cigarettes, snacks, some household & automotive items, some novelty items, some hot food selections, and other usual items found in such places. However, the friendliness & customer service mindset of the clerk is unusually excellent. Such stores are usually known only for the items & convenience they offer, and positive interaction with customers is not normally a consideration. Not so at this Crystal Food Mart! It makes me wonder if that clerk is an owner, or perhaps he has some interest in the store's success. Anyway, it is a high standard of customer service that sets this store apart from the average convenience store. Local commuters probably know this already - all others should take notice!”

“Always have a good experience there! And yes they do speak English there! The food there is good but make sure you go early or you will end up need to wait for the staff to clean first and serve you last! They do need to training their kitchen staff to serve people first and clean at the end of their shift and bot be using clean products by the food that they're serving once this is a dangerous cross contamination and can end make people sick.”

“I use HEB Pharmacy, on Gattis and Redbud Rd. The reason for my review, is because of someone, who's mad because she has to wait in her car too long. I've been using their service since 2007, at this location. And, yes, a few times the wait outside, the window can be a little long, but this seldom happens to me. if I go inside, it seems to go faster. And, most of all, if you go inside to pick up your meds, you can see, everyone in that pharmacy is very busy, and moving quickly to help fill your meds, go to the window, for those customers, then to the counter of the pharmacy, to help you !!! You need to see the whole picture, not from sitting in your car, imagining, why you think they are so slow !! There are customers who have questions, and they are talking to the Tech's, or answering the phones. Please think outside the box, and have some patience, they are working hard, to get to you, as soon as possible.”

“It's fine prices tend to be on the lower side of normal, the pumps are kept clean and the amenities are OK although I do wish the air pump had a digital reading so I could be exact in inflation.”
“I love this H-E-B plus location! I literally live across the street so I'm here about 2x a week lol. It's an older location compared to the other H-E-B plus stores I've been too and can probably use a facelift, but that is okay with me. It has everything I need and more. Sidenote: A few months ago I heard about their butter flavored tortillas from the bakery section and how yummy they are...so i grabbed a pack ...and I am hooked on those! They're so yummy I can eat them alone, pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds and I'm good to go :) They tend to sell out of them often, so I make it a point to pass by the bakery on every visit and grab a pack or two if they have them. Lastly, just wanted to point out how awesome their makeup section is. I'm a drugstore makeup kind of girl, and they carry all the different brands and more and are usually fully stocked, I love it!”
