“I was traveling through Nashville when I got a coolant leak and took my cruze to larrys.. he was able to stop the leak but once I made it to knoxville my water pump went out.. pep boys changed that out for me but they had also told me I had a cracked valve cover. Once I returned back to my home state I called Larry and he said he would pay to get it replaced no problem which was awesome! I took it into a shop in my hometown they checked everything to find out if I actually did have a cracked valve cover. According to them I do not so I did not need to replace it but the fact that Larry was willing to foot the bill and admit it could've been his misdoing should say enough about what an honest mechanic he is! Definitely recommend!”

“We were visiting from out of state and our suburban all of a sudden wouldn't shift into reverse..It was late Friday afternoon, we went to 2 chevy dealerships to see if could service asap as we had to leave town next day. Neither could even analyze our vehicle until the following week! So we went onto Google to see if any local chevy mechanic shops open in the area. Fortunately we found S&J!! We drove straight there and the owner instantly put scanner on vehicle to determine issue, and said he had part in stock and would be able to get us on the road in 2 hours or less. We walked down the road to visit the Lane Auto Museum which btw was fantastic. The time we spent at museum was just about 2 hours and by the time we walked back down to S&J our suburban was fixed and ready to go. These guys are fabulous, very pleasant, knowledgeable and reasonable ? Highly recommend S&J!!Service: Transmission”

“AAA recommended towing my 2014 Subaru to The Car People when I needed an axle replaced (for the 3rd time). I could tell driving out of the shop the car felt right. I used a big chain shop for this repair the first 2 times, that charged me FAR more, kept my car TWICE as long, and NEVER fixed the issue...NO MORE!!! “this was my first time going here and would definitely go back if i need.i went for an tire pressure check after the snow storm and found out that i had a small leak in a tire. josé immediately greeted me at the door, inspected the tire, got my information, and took the car back to repair it. he originally quoted me an hour to an hour and a half, but it only took 30 maybe 40 minutes, which is amazing! they repaired the tire for free and i was more than surprised in a good way.as a woman, i have anxiety over being scammed in places like this but my experience here was a 10/10.”

“Had been to, or talked to, at least 15 other places about a tire issue I had. Not only did they hook me up with a great priced tire, but they did what almost every other company around said they couldn't. They were able to fix my aftermarket rim and get the tire mounted on it after i was told it couldn't be done so why would they even try. This company also, instead of getting me for the tire plug for the screw found in my other tire, was able to remove it and notice it didn't puncture all the way through, so a plug wasn't even needed. Hard working honest folks here and will be returning to them for all of my future tire needs.”

“I don't know about all the STM, but the one I went too in hurricane mills, TN for a oil change also costed me a road side call after my truck shut down and wouldn't start, they didn't tighten up my fuel filter and it was sucking air instead of getting the fuel to stay running, so won't be back to that shop, first and last time there.”
