I do have an older car that I have taken good care of, so I had it transported 2000 miles in hopes that I'd find someone to continue being honest and taking the same good care that it received over the past 23 years.Well, I did find a great place like that with Total Automotive in TN. I found Total Automotive almost a year ago. Every single problem that has come up with my car has been handled with honesty and they do not over charge me. “We had 2 flat tires on our food truck & when I called Tire Barn, Jeremy walked me through next steps & recommendations. We were able to make it to the store & they quickly diagnosed the problem. Turns out it was a valve issues. They had the 2 tires inflated, valves replaced, and even inspected our other tires to make sure it didn’t happen again. Charged a very reasonable price & had us on our way in no time!! Would recommend x a million!!!”

“We were visiting from out of state and our suburban all of a sudden wouldn't shift into reverse..It was late Friday afternoon, we went to 2 chevy dealerships to see if could service asap as we had to leave town next day. Neither could even analyze our vehicle until the following week! So we went onto Google to see if any local chevy mechanic shops open in the area. Fortunately we found S&J!! We drove straight there and the owner instantly put scanner on vehicle to determine issue, and said he had part in stock and would be able to get us on the road in 2 hours or less. We walked down the road to visit the Lane Auto Museum which btw was fantastic. The time we spent at museum was just about 2 hours and by the time we walked back down to S&J our suburban was fixed and ready to go. “AAA recommended towing my 2014 Subaru to The Car People when I needed an axle replaced (for the 3rd time). I could tell driving out of the shop the car felt right. I used a big chain shop for this repair the first 2 times, that charged me FAR more, kept my car TWICE as long, and NEVER fixed the issue...NO MORE!!! Not only did they hook me up with a great priced tire, but they did what almost every other company around said they couldn't. They were able to fix my aftermarket rim and get the tire mounted on it after i was told it couldn't be done so why would they even try. This company also, instead of getting me for the tire plug for the screw found in my other tire, was able to remove it and notice it didn't puncture all the way through, so a plug wasn't even needed. Hard working honest folks here and will be returning to them for all of my future tire needs.”

“Excellent Service. Experienced. Price was right. The gentleman who fixed our tires went out of his way to bag up and load the old tire I wanted to keep. I appreciated that he was carrying. I felt safe. I was carrying too. The neighborhood is sketchy. I DO recommend you go there. I will be back.Don't forget to tip extra if you had to use that nasty fix a flat before you arrived.
