“I absolutely love living here at 1701 North. I’ve lived in other apartments in chapel hill but this one by far is the best. The apartment is nice and has a lot of natural lighting, its dog friendly, the amenities are great, especially the pool. The clubhouse always has events going on (free food, wine tasting, food trucks, and prizes and giveaways) And the management is always friendly. you can tell they do their best to make sure you have a good experience and get to know you through events. I rarely have house maintenance issues. I think I accidentally broke my cabinet once but they can to fix it very swiftly. Overall I really like it here”

“Living here has been awesome so far. Garrett and Austin (the leasing staff) went above and beyond to help me get a great unit. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable and responds to issues in a timely manner- often the same day as putting in a request. Complex is quiet and well maintained. Apartment units are built well. So beautiful with lovely features that are made with quality. Staff responds to issues quickly; it is very easy to get in touch with someone in the office. Neighbors are quiet and respect one another. Amenities are great. Zero issues with bugs or mold which is normally such an issue in many apartment complexes. Located in a convenient area of town. Happy environment overall. Highly recommend.”

“Kingswood is a fantastic apartment complex with an especially great environment. There's a trail nearby that's perfect for hiking. Plus, it's very close to UNC, with just about an 8-minute bus ride away. However, the best aspect here is the staff at the leasing office, particularly Ian. Whenever we have any issues, I go to him, and he always resolves them with patience and efficiency. We're truly thankful for his help! Sometimes, the property also organizes events where they provide free food, which is always delicious! My roommate and I are both foreigners, but this place has given us the warmth of home.”

“Laurel Ridge was a good place to live for two years. The amount of space you get for the cost is great. The apartments are kind of worn with age but the maintenance staff is excellent and super responsive and any issue was fixed without much trouble. Location-wise it’s perfect, right next to the J bus line, and only 10 minutes away from Franklin Street. I did occasionally have issues with loud noise from one of my neighbors, but it was a handful of times and the property manager was able to resolve the issues. The property was otherwise very quiet, peaceful, and felt completely safe.”

Incredible staff who are welcoming and professional. The residents are respectful of each other and it’s a very safe place to live. The amenities are wonderful and the grounds are kept impeccably clean! Highly recommend The Morgan and sad to have to leave!”

“My partner and I lived here for two years in two different apartments. Management is very responsive with everything; emails, maintenance requests, pest control, etc. It's pretty affordable for Chapel Hill, and also within the time I lived here they were always doing ofrenovations on vacant units or working to upgrade the facilities. After one lease cycle, we wanted to continue living here but move to a bigger unit. Management made this super easy for us to do. This was also great place for us to live while attending UNC. You can walk to campus if you need to (it's a bit of a hike just because of it being uphill on the way there) but there's also multiple bus stops right by the complex that are serviced by the NU, NS and several other lines. In my experience, I definitely recommend living here - especially as a student! Pam and Rebecca in the office as well as all the great and attentive maintenance staff made this a wonderful place to live during my undergrad years.”

Love for Jonathan, Belle, and Ralph. Common spaces could be kept a little cleaner, but they do their best:) My doggies and i love it here.”

“Lark is a great place to live! I lived here my last two years at Carolina and could not have asked for a better place to live for the amount I paid. The staff (shoutout to Garrett, Abby, Sarah, Emma, and Kristen) are always professional at work and are extremely nice and will talk to you even when they are off the clock. I think a lot of the negative reviews come from people who didn't full read the housing agreement that they signed. Even though some of the rules (which are not set by staff) seem crazy, they are all listed in the legal document that they signed to live there. Bottom line, just read your housing agreement and if you are okay with everything you won't find a better place to live!!!”

The leasing staff are incrediblyhelpful and kind. Anytime I've had an issue the maintenance staff have been prompt and very thorough with their repairs.”
