“We moved here a couple of months ago from Canada without even seeing the place, and we love it here! ???? Great location, lots of shops within walking distance, access to highway to go to Durham or Raleigh, very convenient. The bus stop is right there, too, only 15-20 minutes to get to campus. The apartment complex is beautiful and very well maintained! Maria did a virtual tour for us and helped with all the questions we had prior to moving. We love the community here. It feels safe and welcoming. Beautiful grounds with tall trees and flowers make this place very special and cozy. Great amenities, we go to the gym and pool on daily basis. It's clean and pleasant to be here. Lots of community activities and fitness classes available. The apartment is in great condition, and if something breaks, it is fixed the next day, thanks to Mark! If there is any problem, the office is very helpful and responsive! We have a nice spacious ground floor apartment, and we enjoy our morning coffee on a big patio overlooking the complex with beautiful greenery. It's finally starting to feel like home! ??”
“I cannot recommend this apartment building enough! The building is beautiful and there are plenty of well maintained amenities like the pool and gym. The leasing staff are incrediblyhelpful and kind. Anytime I've had an issue the maintenance staff have been prompt and very thorough with their repairs.”
“Beautiful apartment community is a pleasure to live in. Staff is friendly and responsive, addressing any questions, issues, or concerns promptly. They arrange creative community events to get to know each other. The location provides convenient access to everything.”
“I absolutely love living here at 1701 North. I’ve lived in other apartments in chapel hill but this one by far is the best. The apartment is nice and has a lot of natural lighting, its dog friendly, the amenities are great, especially the pool. The clubhouse always has events going on (free food, wine tasting, food trucks, and prizes and giveaways) And the management is always friendly. you can tell they do their best to make sure you have a good experience and get to know you through events. I rarely have house maintenance issues. I think I accidentally broke my cabinet once but they can to fix it very swiftly. Overall I really like it here”
“Staff were super helpful with my parking passes, mail orders, and maintenance! Shoutout Chloe for helping me with a clutch parking issue. Staff always gets back to me within 24 hours and community is very friendly!”
“Travis has been a great help to me with various projects. He's the BEST n has caught on extremely quick to his new employment here. I've lived her 3 going on 4 years..hrs he's the BOMB”
“Jay is an outstanding leasing agent. Before moving in he gave me all the details about this wonderful place. Jay was patient very polite also making sure that I got what I was looking for. Notting hill has been a very pleasant place to live very comfortable and quiet. For all thinking about leasing get in contact with this property you’ll love it.”
“Lived here for past 6 months for my travel nurse opportunity at UNC. Shout out to amazing leasing office staff and maintenance crew for an exceptional stay at Chapel Hill. Lots of good amenities and awesome events for residents!”
“My experience living here has been nothing short of fantastic. Situated in a vibrant and convenient location, offers easy access to restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. Everything I need is just a short walk or drive away, making my daily life incredibly convenient. The apartment layout is both functional and stylish. The modern finishes and thoughtful design elements create a comfortable and inviting living space that I'm proud to call home.”
“I recently had the opportunity to work with Mary Young of 612 Hillsborough Townhomes. She was quick to answer questions and made sure I was provided all needed information to make an informed decision. Thank you!”
“The maintenance department at Crosstown At Chapel Hill is exceptional and specifically- Corey. I called in a panic to leave an emergency maintenance request for plumbing. Within minutes of submitting my report, Corey contacted me. I explained that when my toilet was flushed- water rushed out the back. I thought this was in relation to the water shut off that happened the day/night before. Also, Sarah, management, kept us informed every step of the way by emails about the water shut off problems and repair. Which helps the residents to feel considered and respected.
Corey took one look and determined that the tube in the tank was disconnected and he fixed it. I then showed him the toilet in the primary bedroom bath and he determined it needed a different part (I had been procrastinating calling about it) and would return to fix it.
I felt so embarrassed that I made an emergency report and I did cry . I felt embarrassed that I had not called about the other toilet. Corey was so patient and reassuring and made me feel better and he didn't judge me for my crying or for not checking the tank myself first (which I could have done) His professionalism and positive demeanor meant so much. He is a valuable representation for Crosstown at Chapel Hill. I have lived here for 5 years and have always been happy with the maintenance department. Today, I was even more impressed and appreciative- this is due to the positive interaction and assistance from Corey.
I would highly recommend based the maintenance department and also the response from Sarah, in the office.

I want to add another review- once again a problem happened on the weekend- Sunday. I made the call for emergency maintenance and received a prompt and timely response. This time, the staff person was Xavier, and once again professional and courteous assistance, and efficient service to fix the problem. I am always impressed by the maintenance staff at Crosstown at Chapel Hill apartments.”
“Every morning you'll see the office staff tidying up the common areas around the building. Any time I've voiced any compliant they've taken immediate action to help me. They also put on fun events every month for the whole community, which really makes the entire building have a safe and fun family vibe.
The maintenance staff is extremely professional, and they'll always greet you with a smile and wave.
The people who live here are mainly working individuals and families, so if you're trying to avoid the trouble of living in a student community this is a great place.”

100 Spring Meadow Dr, Chapel Hill“I have been looking for an apartment for a while and today I toured my home. Great location and the girl that toured me around was AWESOME!! I love the property pool, grills, gym and a club house with coffee machine and pool table.”
“I lived here for a year 2021-2022 and it was a good place to live. Management is responsive, the place is clean. I didn’t hear my neighbors too much or the street noise.”
“I was so happy with the two years that I lived at laurel ridge! The maintenance staff is incredible. Kenny will be sure to communicate with you about the progress of any maintenance requests.
The office staff was always very helpful and easily contacted.
The rent was by far one of the most affordable in the chapel hill area! I typically opted to walk to campus (approximately 25-30 minutes depending on which building). However, there are two bus lines near by (the J and CM)
The dog park was awesome compared to my new complex!
The only real issues that I had were the bugs (which you will most definitely have anywhere in Chapel Hill) and a leak that was difficult to fix. This leak was due to my townhome (59) being on a lower ground level than the one next to it.
Overall, this was a great community to live in and I was genuinely sad to leave”

600 M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Chapel Hill“Stayed here for 3 years about to move out. It’s a great place with great location and price for 1b1b (compare to other places). Always have parking (also reasonable price). Love how it comes with furniture although u might wanna buy some lights (strongly suggest warm/yellow light it fits the room way better) yourself. It’s has some old features but all u need is to put up some decorations to make it homey and I think the new Renovated model r great. The down side is communal dryer and washer can be a little inconvenient, and on the lower level it can be a bit humid so you might wanna keep ur ac/heat unit running 24/7 everyday of the year even when u r not here (BUT it’s fine cuz all bills are covered u don’t have to worry about it). The staff are so nice and quick on stuff, love them very much.”
“Meredith made my experience with 86 North Properties good. I am an international graduate student with UNC. At first, it was a bit frustrating until Meredith took over the management of the property at 200 Westminster Dr Chapel Hill. She literally expedited the process, while maintaining the policies. I have successfully moved into the property, and its been a great experience so far. Nice neighbourhood, calm and neat, just opposite the bus line
This is certainly a property I'll recommend to all.”
“My partner and I lived here for two years in two different apartments. Management is very responsive with everything; emails, maintenance requests, pest control, etc. It's pretty affordable for Chapel Hill, and also within the time I lived here they were always doing ofrenovations on vacant units or working to upgrade the facilities. After one lease cycle, we wanted to continue living here but move to a bigger unit. Management made this super easy for us to do. This was also great place for us to live while attending UNC. You can walk to campus if you need to (it's a bit of a hike just because of it being uphill on the way there) but there's also multiple bus stops right by the complex that are serviced by the NU, NS and several other lines. In my experience, I definitely recommend living here - especially as a student! Pam and Rebecca in the office as well as all the great and attentive maintenance staff made this a wonderful place to live during my undergrad years.”
“I moved here in March and have enjoyed living here so far. The management team is great, and I love how the new team has made a point of putting together community activities. I’ve asked for some minor maintenance to be performed, and whenever I make a request, it’s taken care of very quickly. On top of this, my neighbors really feel like a small family - we speak with each other and I know that in an emergency, I’d have support. Very thankful for this community!”
“OMG where do I start, Azlynn was the best, after a day full of looking and dealing with different attitudes, Azlynn made sure this experience the easiest and most hospitable. SHE DESERVES A RAISE. Because of her i definitely will refer family and friends GREAT JOB.”
“My review is for the Admin Team only: Very responsive team and they were very accommodating with the what myself and a current tenant were trying to do. (Take over her unit but under my own account) In the end, I didn't want to continue the application due to issues with the 3rd party site. They quickly refunded me the fee, as promised. Thank you Juana & Madison!”
“I moved to Lark in August and I’ve had a really good experience so far. The maintenance staff is really nice and helpful, I renewed for next year and can’t wait to keep living here!”
“I live towards the back of the property and find it a quieter area without many problems. The shared area is very spacious even for 4 people. Bugs are an occasional annoyance but no major issues. The gym is well equipped for an apartment which is a great plus. Maintenance is reliable and staff like Misagh are very friendly! For the rent I am paying I find the value of this place on par.”
“I recently called and had the pleasure to speak with Leasing Assistant, Morgan. She was able to answer all my questions and was so polite and knowledgeable. Great experience!!”
