“I was in a really bad Tbone accident in January, I found Josh on Google!! So many shops wouldn’t take my car, but Josh took my car the day my insurance company dropped my car off!! I was so thankful for this!Josh fixed the side damage from the accident within exactly 1 month and was very kind and updated me weekly on the progress. Josh even fixed parts like a missing window button inside the car for me!There was front damage done to the car while in the hands of my insurance company. The side damage was fixed first and then I brought back the car this past Friday to fix the front damage! Josh fixed the grill and bumper by Monday evening! He even helped me out with an oil change too.I would HIGHLY recommend JSmitty shop to anyone!! It was worth the tow to Schenectady from Albany! Josh is so genuine with his work! “The starter on my girlfriend’s car went kaput last week. She had only just the week before had to have the clutch repaired, so there wasn’t a lot of money left for a new starter and she absolutely needed it fixed asap. No place nearby had one in stockI had used Xcel probably about 25 years ago for an alternator, so I brought it there.They didn’t have one either, but he offered to rebuild it and had it done within a couple hours. (Much cheaper than a remanufactured one at any of the big auto parts chains would have cost me,btw)I got it home and installed before my gal got home from work.Thank you Xcel, you made me the hero of the day!”

“THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE BODY WORK DONE.... I was rear ended and my pumper was damaged. I went to Carman Body Works because my sister has had work done there previously and raved about how great they were. They were great, their customer service is fantastic. I went to get my pumper fixed at a season where they had a crazy work case load. They work with both insurance companies to make sure everything is organized and paid for. Which since I was rear ended and it wasn't my fault the other insurance company paid for the repairs. They also found additional damage that was caused to the rear when taking the pumper off to put on the new one. They called and informed the insurance company that was paying for the repairs on my behalf and they also were able to get that covered for me. Over all great experience. Also on a side note my door handle just broke on my driver side door. Needless to say its a no brainer where I am going to go. I just called them and will be having them give me an estimate later before they close today.”

“This is an honest man who has been in business for a number of years...very friendly...totally competent and knows his stuff...I am an older woman and my brother told me about him cuz he delivers for a local tool business. I just picked up my 2006 Honda which he repainted and got rid of the rust. It is beautiful he did an awesome job! Now he will be working on my other car putting new brakes/rotars. Anything else it needs as I will be selling it and asking a fair price. I trust this man with anything he says he can repair and there's not too many shops left like this one. The price is also very reasonable!”
