“I want to point out, this is where I got my suit from (out of *several* bespoke shops) due to price but mostly because the quality of help I got here. Mia is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend booking an appointment with her! I would give Proper Cloth 5/5 if there wasn't as many limitations on "what's possible" in terms of customization here. I couldn't get a 3-piece (had to go to 3rd party) and some particular modifications weren't possible as well. Hoping some higher-ups see this cause it's surprising how much you can't get done even if the person helping you is willing.”

“I only ever bought off the rack suits and as a groomsman I have only ever worn the typical suit rental company selected by the couple to be. My wife and I decided on a destination wedding and a honeymoon to follow. Using the typical rental companies would be fairly expensive so I decided I would purchase a custom tux. I spent days reviewing providers and Enzo's custom in midtown stood out. After reading many of the reviews I decided I wanted to work with Jeremy. Going into this I did not realize how many decisions were required to create a custom suit. It can be very overwhelming. Jeremy never made me feel uncomfortable with my custom tux/suit ignorance. He was very patient, attentive and helped me through the entire process. He even dealt with a million questions from my wife when she tagged along on a couple visits. He handled everything with grace. I had such a wonderful experience that I decided to purchase a custom suit as well. The quality, look and feel of the tuxedo was tremendous. I received compliments the entire wedding day and felt like a movie star. I highly recommend Enzo's and Jermey. I will be back for custom suits for work in the future.”

“My experience with Michelle at Alan David went above and beyond my expectations. I was asked to officiate a friend’s wedding and had tried on my tux about 3 weeks before the wedding. I had been weight lifting and my pants no longer fit. After trying several off-the-rack tuxedo options, which were expensive for the quality, I made an appointment at Alan David.I was looking for a double breasted peak lapel jacket with pleated pants that had a slight break and a nice drape to them. Not only was the incredible team at Alan David able to accommodate my unreasonable request of a custom suit in such a short timespan, the suit was made with extreme precision, care and love. Michelle’s expertise, incredible taste, artistry, kindness and warmth made this whole process a dream.At my first fitting, my tuxedo shirt that I had previously owned needed the sleeves adjusted which the team was able to accommodate as well as sewing my button holes on my placket smaller so my shirt studs wouldn’t fall out (a detail I had never even thought of, but what turned out to be an essential modification).This was my first time ordering a custom suit. Elsie, Emily, Ben, Bruce and especially Michelle all made my experience a true delight from start to finish. The great thing about Alan David is that they order extra fabric so if my suit needs alterations in the future the fabric will be from the same dye lot. Custom suiting is ultimately an investment, cheap suits can be expensive from how frequently you need to replace them. A custom suit can last for decades if you maintain them properly. I would highly recommend Alan David for those who are looking for a beautiful, tailor-made suit, I plan on returning again as soon as I can.”

“I stumbled upon this store completely by chance. They had a very nice poncho/rain jacket displayed in their window, so I decided to explore further. It turned out to be the best discovery I've ever made in terms of brands. I fell in love with everything they offer. Their pieces are absolutely fabulous and unisex. What makes me completely addicted to it is that I'm obsessed with bike clothing that doesn't look like bike clothes, and their garments are extremely comfortable. They have long sleeves that cover your wrists when gripping the bike handles, jackets with collars that keep your neck protected, and the poncho has a large hood that you can pull over your head and adjust the waist... everything is just perfect. So, thank you for creating such top-notch products! Every time I put on my Descendant of Thieves rain poncho, I smile :) it is so cool and beautiful.”

Also for taking the time to really let me go through every catalog they had, and I made sure I went through them all, to make sure I found what I loved most. He was able to walk me through the process, and got the ties sent to me on time! I was also very happy to get the hybrid tie as well, because I wanted to have a relaxed look at the end of the event, but didn't want to worry about tying the tie beforehand.
