“Hello I had a very pleasant interaction with Jason at Nordstrom (store # 202 on the UES of Manhattan). He was extremely pleasant and helpful and even laughed at my jokes. I love Nordstrom but when you get wonderful service that makes it an even more pleasant experience!”

“I have been shopping there for over five years, and Have never had a bad moment or merchandise...I just think that sometimes their prices; is not so much of a deal...for a closeout store, they should be selling stuff waaaay below cost...other than that..I love the store. Sorry if others beg to differ...To each his own I guess....”

“What a wonderfully lovely place! This isn't just a store - it's a whole cultural experience! They have everything here: All kinds of household goods, unique cards & gift wrappers, plethora of kitchen items and beautiful collections of porcelains, snacks, a whole wall of tea varieties, traditional Chinese calligraphy sets, very expansive collections of traditional clothes / dresses and shoes for adults and kids! They also have fun t shirts in all sizes. There's even a gallery in the back with various photographs from different artists / photographers. I could spend days and days here just looking through things and immersing myself in the delightful and serene atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Another successful visit to the Nordstroms store thanks to sales associate Jelani Williams. I had taken a picture of a pair of booties I found online and liked but while looking around wasn't able to locate them in the store, Jelani to the rescue. Jelani went to the back and bought out the box with one shoe (which I tried on and loved) the other was on the rack....with the patience of a saint he went thru all the racks trying to locate the matching booties. Unable to find it I saw him heading back to the stock room was gone for a little bit but was unable to locate it. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to purchase and he offered to order it for me online since the booties would more than likely be in either another store or the warehouse and could be fulfilled. This visit was on Monday and my booties arrived on Wednesday. Ladies like many other reviewers who suggested to size up I would go 1/2 size up. I always wear a 9 which is the picture of me wearing the booties and "yes" the heel is very hard and it's pretty narrow in the lower portion of foot. The 9 1/2 just has a wee bit of space that a pair of thick socks couldn't fit......they are perfect.Love love love my new booties and I hope Jelani is available anytime I visit the stores shoe department”

“This store is spacious and offers a ton of seasonal merchandise along with plenty of bath kitchen and bedroom staples. While bargains are still to be had, pricing seems to have crept up over the past 3 years to the point where you're often not getting stuff at a discount to other retailers.TJMAX (parent company) has enjoyed enormous success with their business model of buying other retailers unsold good at pennies on the dollar. But in the last 5 to 10 years, many of the big retailers that made up the bulk of their consistent stock of items took note and started in house close out businesses of thier own, which decreased available stock and raised the floor on close out goods.Still fun to treasure hunt, and always easy to find holiday themed decorative goods. But the actual deals are def becoming harder to come by.”

“The lines are long but they do move...steadily. If you are in a rush don't come here. Make sure you have time. There is a large selection of everything. I found some good pet items as well. Great prices! Staff is friendly. Checkouts and returns are the same line...which again is long.”

“Just wanted to let you know about this awesome chocolate shopping experience I had. The prices at this store were ridiculously cheap compared to other places. I ended up getting a ton of delicious chocolates like Lindt, Kiss, and M&M. It's even cheaper than Jack store, which is right across from it. So if you're a chocolate lover like me, you definitely need to check out this place! ?? #ChocolateShopping #SweetDeals”

“This was and always will be my favorite Lot Less store location. Granted, they are a discount store but there are so many fun things to buy at bargain prices. Who doesn't love a bargain? I wouldn't buy shoes or clothing here but there are some great finds at Lot Less. This particular location has a large Christmas section. I browsed here last night and purchased two very adorable Father Time/Santa miniature figurines-for the tree or just decor. Only $3.99 each. I still like their mini food section with some pretty darn good olive oils and imported sweets. Toiletries such as shampoos and body wash are usually a hit purchase. This location is spacious and orderly. Whenever I am in the area, I'll swing by and usually leave with a bag in hand. A variety of merchandise that's always changing.”

“I never went into a Kiehl's before. I've passed it 100 times. I've been having some trouble with my hair and this time I didn't pass it by. It looks like an old tyme apothecary and even says since 1851, so you think they have to have something good going on. What lasts this long nowadays!! I walked and and was immediately welcomed in by a gorgeous chandelier, beautiful wood floors, and all kinds of bottles containing slaves and elixirs and pastes and such. It looks like they know what they are doing in there as far as skin care, cleansing products, and what I went for, hair care! Dominic helped me and I've been back now many times to chat with him! He's so helpful and so New York! I love it! Go see Dom! He will help you with whatever you need! Loved the hair care! Love the hand cream!”

“I have been to a teso mini but I recommend going to teso life because it was more things that I even imagined that it would have I found some great Japanese facial products that I’m using for my skin and the employees were very helpful and they did find all I wanted! There are lots of Japanese snacks but be aware that some snacks are Taiwanese and Chinese so if u are looking just for Japanese ones, look and make sure it says made in Japan, from Japan, etc. I give 5 stars! I am coming again real soon for more.”

“Of all the places in the city where I would understand staff being grumpy, this is the place. But not so! Every person who I encountered at this Target was incredibly friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciate the folks who work here.”

“This is my first time in a long time visiting Marshalls. I love coming early without the crowds or distractions. The prices are still reasonable and the staff are helpful. Alexis was my cashier and I even opened a Marshalls card that can be used for stores other than Marshalls. I will definitely be back.”

“This one is not my favorite but the Marshalls thats at the same location is. The Marshalls doesn't seem to pop up when you search for it on yelp but I have to say that I was mind blown by the selections at the Marshalls. I've never seen so many Steve Madden bags and amazing clothes and shoes in all sizes. Again, I am raving about the Marshalls, not the Tj Max. The prices were also amazing and the store was very clean and organized.”

“Passed by this Muji location just walking back to subway/making my way back to Rockefeller plaza. Pleasantly surprised by the massive selection of organizational goods and Japanese lifestyle/office/home products. Was there shortly before closing, and staff were friendly and did not rush customers to pay and to get out. Store was clean and well maintained. Everything seemed to be stocked, and staff answered questions about where to locate products and which ones were their favorites.”

“This striking Spanish porcelain store is more like a museum! It's worth seeing for sure but be mentally prepared if you ask for a price. The prices are amazing as well if that makes any sense. Many of items are limited editions. The Salvador Dali porcelain sculpture is apparently the last one yet to be sold. There is even a selfie exhibit perfect for having your picture taken. I resisted the impulse. Life is good with unique porcelain from Valencia, Spain.”

“A gen within the Chelsea market, with an array of treats and meals. I highly recommend the bulgogi kimbap, it was made with quality ingredients, including radish that adds to its refreshing taste. The Laksa was delicious with heaps of noodles in a curry sauce that is well seasoned. What I didn't take a picture of was the matcha brown sugar bubble tea and boa buns. It was super convenient to try so many items in the same place. It was orderly and food was served quickly. The staff was so friendly amongst the bustle of Chelsea market.”

“Smacked in the middle of Koreatown, this is a busy shop full of tourists. They have a lot of fun things inside! I came here since it was a safe haven during a hot summer in Manhattan. They have air conditioning, cold drinks, and tons of blind boxes to checkout. A lot of Asian essentials to buy too. This was a must while walking around town! And yes... they had lots of Smiski in stock :)”
