“Quite possibly the best car rental experience I’ve ever had, from start to finish. Virtually no wait at pickup or return. Totally seamless process with no pressure to add extra insurance, etc.Everyone we encountered was polite, laid-back, friendly, and competent. They seemed like they genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. And we did!Special shout-out to Eli, who helped us with our return. He went above and beyond to take care of us.Because of this first experience with National, I plan to use them for all future car rentals—even though I have Presidents Circle Status with Hertz.”

“I rent between 12-24 cars per year.. and rent another 15 trucks from uhaul during the summer to tow my boat to the ramp (1 mile - so great deal)Almost all car rental places had challenges during the COVID era.. Car sanitizing, reduced inventory from labor challenges.. renting a car from any company including Enterprise was terrible..Now we are past that COVID era (in MHO), rental car demand is high and I want to see more people working behind the counter and I want to see everyone who is working, including the managers helping customers first before chatting about daily living with each other, or on cell phones. Of all the rental companies - Enterprise has done the best job of this.. I also want to see the over-sell / no cars left problem gone. I understand how over-sell is needed because of all the flakes and double bookers that cause problems. I think this is solved easily by advanced unrefundable deposits or payments and making sure those customers cars are not rented to someone else. Easy ! Those that dont pay until they get the car - too bad.. Its the double bookers and flakes causing this over-sell behavior - not the rental companies.. But Some companies have higher over-sell rates than others.. there should be constant monitoring - even at the customer level to know what the proper over-sell rates should be.. and when the over-sell situation happens, Enterprise is one of the best companies to give you another car - usually better upgrade - to make it right.. if you ask nicely - you may get it for free.. if you yell at them and tell them they owe you your car.. you may have to pay for the upgrade.. Human behavior is pretty consistent this way across all industries.. I ended up in a Audi last time I was in Buffalo on a over-sell / inventory situation.. There is also some adjustments I would like to see in the inventory when it gets late at night.. there are bad policies at this time that hurt the late arrivals.. The toll situation in some states is terrible. Rental cars are taking too much off the top for service charges.. worse that ticketmaster these days.. what would be good for the niargara tourists is to give them the free route.. if they have GPS - help them turn off tolls.. its only a 10 min ? difference in travel time ? I wish the states would allow a lane to two to pay at the toll and not make the license plate the billing point.. The states could also regulate rental companies on service charges.. Lots of people to blame here.. but every Buffalo employee should be trained on nontoll routes, paper maps with routes marked and GPS toll settings for apple and android.. (dont need to know blackberry)..My experience was good.. The lady was kind, I was kind.. and we had good communication with each other.. I got the Audi for free and I am sure being nice had something to do with that - but also powered employees and good policies helps too. Some rental car places handcuff their employees to make any decisions on their own.. Good companies understand good training and empowerment is the best way to helping the customers.. Enterprise has the best reputation for this.. I also like the meeting of me at the door and walking to the car.. it helps a lot.. not extra walking trying to find some number-letter combination (some parking lots are terrible for ordering) anyways.. recommend Enterprise unless the price just screams louder than the competitors customer service..”

“I often need to rent vehicles from this location and have yet to be let down. They have a wide variety of vehicles onsite. Tuesday, was there picking up a vehicle for work travel and was able to witness the outstanding customer service provided in a very high stress interaction. The associate politely educated and humored the customer although from what I witnessed, the customer was wrong. I could appreciate the associate keeping his cool and adhering to company policy without being rude or condescending.”

“Excellent customer service. There was a problem with our reservation and unfortunately no car was available, so they put us in at the next best time slot and said if anything comes up, we would be the first they call and after like 25 minutes, they sure called! Errol Evans was so great. He was kind, knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. Would recommend him to anyone!”

“I never use the same car rental agency for obvious reasons, but the level of customer service at this location may make me change my patterns. I rented a very large, yet totally nondescript vehicle with more than enough room for my special cargo. This vehicle was equipped with “weather tec” floor mats that really came in handy. I highly recommend”

“Make sure to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. They compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! Our flight got cancelled from California via Chicago, because the weather was bad in Chicago, and the front desk agent at the hotel was very kind and compassionate to cancel our reservation and not charge us for the one night stay. Thank you, we appreciate your kind and courteous help.”

“They didn't have the car we thought we were getting. They offered us a "4 wheel drive" truck instead. That was fine until we got caught in a snow storm and discovered the truck was not 4 wheel drive and it had summer tires. It was pretty sketchy. The truck smelled bad inside. The windshield wipers needed to be replaced and the inside of the windshield was filthy. After a few days we returned the truck as planned and rented a car which was much better than the truck in the snow.”

“The staff was very nice when I checked in.When renting an EV out to someone, you should really let them know what comes with renting an EV. I have never driven one, so when I got inside the car, I spent about thirty minutes looking through the book to see about starting, driving, nav, radio, etc. There should also be a printed list of charging stations as well as instructions on how and where to charge one. This is especially important if someone has never driven an EV. Fortunately, there was someone at the charging station who was able to assist us.There were only 131 miles left to the charge when rented out to me. I asked the return staff how many miles should be available when fully charged, and they said around 240. They also rushed me. And I forgot something in the back seat of the car. Just because you're running behind and doesn't mean you have the right to rush others. This was booked through my employer. I did not know they had reserved me an EV.”

“I took $44 "mystery car" option on third party car rental app twice and both times it directed me to Dollar. First time there was no queue at all, I was served by very nice gentleman and got practically new Toyota Camry. However we were charged additional $12 for loss damage waver and were told it was compulsory and required by law. Second time there were few people in the queue, so we had to wait 15 mins and got Dodge Journey. This time no additional charge was added, which makes me think that the first gentleman was not telling the truth and we did not have to pay the additional charge.I used them 3rd time with "mystery car" and this time got Ford Mustang! It was Saturday so I paid $70 but still for a Mustang it was a bargain!”
