Unfortunately they were not interested in the item I was trying to sell(no big deal at all) but I didn’t walkout emptied handed because they gave me a iPhone charger and block for free, which they didn’t have to do at all. They were even able to do alterations within 3 days to make sure I had time to try it on a few days before the event. “I've been to Piccard several times now. Once, we went to sell some gold coins, another time we went to change watch batteries, then a third time to help my mother pick out new earrings. Piccard has a small selection, but they all appear to be good pieces. These days, I understand why a jeweler wouldn't want to have a lot of stock - robberies or the cost of goods being high, it really doesn't make sense to have much in stock. But, they do have a lot of catalogs you can review, and he will order anything you want. More so, I trust them. When we went to sell our gold coins, they were US Coins, proof. They said he would buy them by weight, but we would probably get more from a coin dealer. They could have just given us the money and marked up the coins, but they didn't. That earned my trust and my business.”
