Turns out the previous shop I went to was intensely deceitful, price gouging me and urging me to fix things that don’t need fixing, while beating around the bush with things that *actually* need fixing.Everyone at Rolando’s is so kind and honest, especially Rachel, who I worked with most of the time. During one incident, she even called the previous shop who was trying to screw me over, explaining that the work they did is what created the problem in the first place. Calmly and professionally.I can’t stress how difficult it is to find honest mechanics these days. If you’re on the fence, give these guys a try. I promise you won’t regret it. They’ll tell it to you straight, be honest, and have reasonable prices. They even told me several times when replacing certain parts would be a waste of my money. I owe them so many thanks.”

“Schaeffer Auto in Elk Grove Village, IL ~ are an excellent auto repair shop. They fixed my car in under a week. Even though we’re all experiencing delays on certain vehicle parts due to all of the strikes, they were able to obtain the necessary parts and repair my vehicle pretty quickly. I didn’t even have to go through the hassle of making any payments because they handled everything with the insurance company. And the insurance company paid them directly. Schaeffer also went ahead and scheduled a rental car for me which picked me up directly from their shop at the same time that I dropped off my car. And when my car was ready, I just dropped off the rental at Schaeffer and the rental car company came and picked up their car.Schaeffer also buffed out the rest of my car that had minor scratches, washed and vacuumed everything nicely too. I was unable to be there during the inspection, but the staff was able to call me and let me know that they found nothing wrong with my vehicle. They even explained that it may just be due to the age of my car, but that it wasn't a cause for concern as long as I kept up with regular maintenance.As a woman, I appreciate the honesty and transparency that this shop provided me. I felt safe bringing my car here and am grateful that they didn't try to sell me any unnecessary repairs or services.
