“My family and I love this place! It’s a large thrift store with many different areas to explore, including a large warehouse with tons of vintage furniture. There is a nice selection of clothing, housewares, books, and more. Prices are often more affordable than other thrift stores. I love checking out the vintage linens to find affordable fabric for sewing projects.”

“Bought an umbrella for my pool deck last summer and am super happy with the quality. It's way different from what you would find in the big box stores. Also just picked up a Primo kamato grill which is the only one still made in the USA. I'm new to cooking with kamatos, but so far I'm impressed. This is a family owned business, they really go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Highly recommended!”

This helped in selecting something that will work for us.The only negative, and it was major, was applying for in store credit. After multiple attempts I gave up on it, as the process was very time consuming and required you to step through multiple steps. Even the GM witnessed this issue. Synchrony’s banks process is broken.”

“Wonderful gem of a store. I have lived in the area for a few months and a friend just introduced me to Within Reach. The merchandise was perfect with everything from seasonal needs to everyday use! I picked up a few gifts for my bridal shower hostesses and the owner was friendly, helped me find the perfect piece for each one and wrapped them beautifully. I cannot wait to go back and find a new assortment of things for my home!!”

“My fiancé and I were browsing furniture stores for the perfect couch for our family room in our new house. We searched the usual furniture stores but we couldn't find anything we quite liked until we stumbled upon Penny Mustard and decided to give them a try. We were greeted by Kim and it instantly felt like we were talking to a family member instead of an intimidating salesperson. Kim was very helpful and knowledgable into helping us find the perfect couch. So helpful, in fact, that my fiancé was also able to find a recliner for himself for the family room as well! Penny Mustard, I would say, is a place where "you get what you pay for." The couch quality was marvelous and so soft and it's clearly made to last. I was surprised at the amount of color/material options for each piece of furniture. Overall, very happy with the purchases and our home finally feels cozy!”

“Great place to find antiques and handmade items. I never leave empty-handed. Christmas time is my favorite time to stop in to find unique gifts. Also, most booths are beautifully decorated for the holiday season. During one visit, they were having a painting class. The room was full, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.”

“I love love love LOVE this place, more than I can say! The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because if we're looking for absolute perfection with 5 stars here, the only thing making it not perfect would be that some of the clearance items are marked with more than one sticker price, and cashiers don't always punch in the lower sticker price on the item. And this is one of the primary "loves" i have for this place as a crafter and hobbyist; the incredibly dirt cheap clearance prices on some of the coolest stuff they've ever had. Other than that, I've been guilty on several occasions, of spending hours on end here, losing track of time, and winding up here til nearly closing, because there's so much to peruse, and always so very much I want to take home. It always takes an incredible amount of restraint to not bring half the store's inventory home with me on every trip. If ever i got locked in there at the end of the day, they'd come back the next morning to 90% of their stuff having been used to make happy stuff to greet them at the door the next day, there's so much to keep me busy. You know how so many people say they don't know where to start? In this place, I wouldn't know where to stop!”

“They had a Christmas event when we visited. Love the singing, however the singing group was so loud you couldn't have conversations. Made shopping hard, second the event brought people in that where only interested in the food and drinks. Which also made shopping hard for hard paying customers.Love the concept of the store and my wife loves your products, just no extremely loud music groups.”

To make it feel better that I am buying when I should not, I am able to consign what I no longer want with them. The staff is very friendly. I wish I knew about them years ago. If you are looking for vintage or classy look furniture or art work this is the place to go.”

“I recently moved to the area and have stopped in a few times. What made me want to write a review is how great our last visit was. We stopped in for some cards and the manager or owner gave our toddler a big candy cane and talked to him about Santa. “I recently stopped in to look at lighting and found a wonderful display of ceiling fans and track lighting along with other lighting. . I had looked at a few other lighting stores and found Northwest had the best selection. Because of the selection and service I received, I purchased two ceiling fans and track lighting with beautiful pendants which Jessica suggested. I will go back when ready to order floor lamps. Jessica was a wonderful salesperson and was very helpful. She had great suggestions and was very good at getting back to me with questions I had. When the manufacturer of the track lighting sent an incorrect part, Northwest expedited the reorder of the part and had it delivered to my home.Also, late one evening when I called the store about the incorrect part, Jessica was with another customer and Thelma went out of her way to help me and called back well after the store's normal hours. She, too, offered exceptional customer service skills. I highly recommend this store.”

“Our trips to World Market in Kildeer, Illinois have been consistently awesome, mainly thanks to the fantastic folks working there. Mike, the store manager, and Ciela deserve the biggest shoutout for going the extra mile. We had to order some furniture that wasn't in the store, and these two made the whole process a breeze, handling delays and hiccups like true champs. They were not only pros but also super pleasant to chat with during our visits.The staff really know their stuff and genuinely care about giving customers a great experience. “We purchased a light to go over our dining room table there. We were not sure exactly what we wanted as our ceiling was really high. They worked with us to pick out the a really nice piece and it was installed very quickly.There were some hicups during installation, but they worked with us and they were quickly resolved. The installer who has been with them forever was very professional and knowledgable.Now we have a new light that changes the entire room. We will use Jacobsons for our future business”

“I want to start off by saying that I called Penny Mustard customer Service about a question on how to get a king size mattress which I had "inherited" up my stairs. The mattress (which was purchased from Penny Mustard by a friend who decided to move out of state) sat in my living room for a month before attempting to hike it up the stairs. I called Penny Mustard to ask if they had any advice and spoke to Donna who not only was friendly and very knowledgeable about mattresses. She took the time to speak to me about "folding the mattress in half" and getting it up the stairs. And she was so right! We got the king size mattress up the stairs like professional movers.Thank you Donna for taking the time and sharing your wisdom in mattress moving and for an excellent customer experience.”
