“** Kind Staff ** ** Not so Hidden Gem ** Honestly Meijer is a place I only hit up when it's Christmas time, I have no idea why. They have a massive selection of everything! Chances are if you need it they have it and at a reasonable price. Christmas time is a no brainer. When hunting for that hot toy you have to hit all the stops. Sadly I was unsuccessful this year in what I was looking for but I did leave with a handful of other gifts and what nots. I have to mention their men's department. They have a wonderful selection for men's casual dress and I'm always on the hunt for something different. I did leave with something for myself . The four stars is because it kind of reminds me of the dying days of a certain K*art. A bit messy. Their departments need to look more purposeful and inviting. Right now it just looks like an outdated warehouse filled with stuff. They need to do better. I decided I need to be back more often. Definitely won't wait for Christmas.”

“I was very disappointed to walk into your store on January 2 and see that all the Christmas decorations were taken down!I would at least expect Christmas decorations to be up until the 12 days of Christmas pass.Even the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York stays up until January 13th.Also, you should offer your Christmas wrapping through January 7. There are over 300 million Orthodox Christians living throughout the world that celebrate Christmas on a different day and a different Easter as well.I can’t get my gifts wrapped with Christmas paper because you take it away:(”

“some good deals ... I was able to find some stuff for the grandkids as well. Word of caution to anyone shopping. Don't set down your phone or wallet. We don't know if it was pick pocketed or set down by mistake. We lost our phone to someone not in the holiday spirit. Be aware of your surroundings. We didn't expect this in the Deerfield / Northbrook area. It was an extremely expensive lesson and very time consuming to set up the replacement phone with all the passwords involved.”

“Went to shop for shoes . Christmas sale is going on. Melsa at the shoe department was a great help. Picked up a pair of tan fitflops . When I went to Melsa she pointed out that they came in black as well. Then she spent a long time looking for the blacks and found them finally. The price was more than I was willing to spend but because she went that extra mile I bought them. Thanks Melsa! Love the shoes.”

“Great customer service here! Everyone is so friendly and always smiling. We purchased an ottoman. Mike was so helpful in loading our ottoman on the flat bed cart and even into our car. At first, it wasn’t going to fit in our car because of the legs so he went out of his way to grab a hex key and removed the legs for us and voila, it fit! I also loved all of the selections in the store. So much variety of things I needed from storage to bedding. I love coming here even though it’s 30 min drive for me. I have a Home Goods 5 min away from home but it’s worth the drive.”

“This Macy's is located in Woodfield mall. It's very huge and has 3 levels. There's quite a lot of items to look at. You might be lost if you are unsure of what you are buying. The helpers at the fragrance are good to work. They have sale going on year round and there's an outlet section in the ground level near the toy section.I have noticed the some employees at billing near men's section were not so pleasant or welcoming.Also, try and get out of the store before they close. Else, you'd be forced to walk out of the building if you didn't park in front of Macy's. In summer it might be okay but winters are a nightmare.”
