“I went into the Fox Valley Mall location today to buy my boys their first skateboards. Josh the store manager was a great help. I do not know much about skateboards, but Josh took time to show my boys the different types of boards that they offered and allowed them to try them out. He also fit my kids for protective gear. It was one of the best customer experiences I have had in a while and I would highly recommend going to Zumiez in the Fox Valley Mall for any skateboarding needs.”

“The lady I encountered was incredibly sweet and the little ones working there too! Love to see a family business work together. I went in to buy 3 car flags for Mexican Independence Day however I couldn’t help but to notice that the flags aren’t the greatest quality. It has been two days and the flags are ripping and it’s not even the holiday weekend yet :( i don’t think they’ll make it till then. I am a bit disappointed especially since a friend suggested I come shop here. I don’t want to think the material of the other stuff are the same.”

“Nice store with good collection. I found what I was looking for but few of the staff were rude, intentionally ignored folks waiting for trial room although several rooms were free and asking customers to place the clothes back where they found it. There was delay in billing as well. There was probably only 1 person who was genuinely excited to help customers and the rest were probably tired. I was about to buy 4 items and dropped 2 and was almost about to walk away in billing when the billing staff just walked away after billing folks even when we were in line next. They came back after sorting some clothes and billed us.”

“She isn't a skater, but she likes the skater vibe. I don't mind. Vans makes pretty quality stuff and the shoes hold up well, especially given their affordability. Sarah brought out 6 boxes of shoes and gave excellent advice for picking the right shoe for my kid's needs. She went with the $90 skateboarder style high top for the comfort and for durability.Service is great here. Products are great. The store is clean and organized. Located on the 2nd floor next to the Furry Babies store. (Don't buy pups from that place)”

“I ordered two pair of earrings online, but when I received them, the posts were severely bent. I took them to the Coach outlet in Aurora and Leah was more than accommodating! She was able to straighten one pair but the second pair could not be fixed. She brought several other pair for me to choose from to replace the pair that could not be fixed. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and patient she was. Thank you so much, Leah!!”

I only gave 4 stars because I am purchasing something 30 minutes before the store closes, I shouldn't be rushed in such a hurry that you forget to take the sensor off my purchased book bag. From the clothing, hair products, or jewelry, I have usually managed to find either what I want or something I am willing to try. I can go to other beauty supply stores and never find what I want only to kick myself and say you just need to go to this store; they probably have what you need. My kudos and many accolades to the staff and owner! And yes, should I encounter a problem, I would simply speak to someone on the management team. Have not had to.
