“Young professional here, I am building my jewerly pieces/collection for everyday use. This is my favorite vintage jewerly store. Pieces are beautiful and unique. Staff are always sweet, accomodating, and super helpful. Plus all their merchandize are organized, well-taken care of and reasonable priced so I dont feel overwhelmed at all. Other than jewerly, they have a lot of beautiful furniture, glassware, instruments, and so many found things that would definitely sing to you. Its been my guilty pleasure coming here but hey, everytime I go out, I have something that makes me happy.”

“I often pop in here to get second hand clothes or shoes for my kids. Recently it was my son's 4th birthday and we were all home sick. He had been asking everyday for over a month if his birthday was tomorrow and if he could please have a spider stuffie. He was so sad to miss his birthday at school and I had had no time to buy him a present because we had back ti back illnesses for a month. I called Kelly's corner, they had one and asked if I could pay over the phone and have her toss it out the door to me so as not to infect anyone .she was so sweet and offered to drive the gift to my house (we lived nearby)after work. She even wrapped it in a gift bag and added a few trinkets. It made his day and meant so much to me. Thank you!”

“I love going to Rocket Reuse! Obscure and interesting books and DVDs. I usually come out with something cool. Most recently I nabbed an older obscure movie on DVD, an old Fantasy novel adapted to graphic novel, and a classic comic.”

“I would highly recommend coming here! The owner Michael is nice and the store is really clean. All of the clothing was sorted by color and it was very well organized. We liked looking through all the racks, all of the clothes were great quality and there was something there for everyone. The prices were also extremely fair. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Berkeley!”

She's so sweet and unpretentious, and the store has more style than pretty much anywhere else in Oakland. Other salons cost twice as much and give you a much worse experience. Amber is a truly awesome hairstylist and I can't recommend her enough.”

The downside is, I don't think they have updated their open hours.Went in there around 11 and they were still closed. I hope they update their business hours if they have changed! For someone like me who is just starting to learn about vintage, I love that I can come find unique pieces that aren't going to cost an arm and a leg. Plus, the owner, Tristan, is so knowledgeable. Their prices seem to always land somewhere between $200-$400. They accept items for consignment, but it is important to ask Joy what they are taking before cleaning out your closet. They are a high-end consignment shop that we are fortunate to have these days.
