“This was my first visit to Fred's Wrenchouse, and I had a great experience. My repair could have cost more than it did, but they simply did what was necessary to make my car both driveable and aesthetically pleasing and I was on my way a few hours later. This process was made easier because after I dropped my car off in the morning, I was able to go around the corner to Pete's coffee and worked there for 4-4.5 hours on my laptop, and my car was ready to be picked up before 2 PM. Clearly, with all their high ratings here on Yelp, this business doesn't need another one, but I think it's important to keep reviewing so that new customers know they are still doing quality work, in a reasonable amount of time, for a fair market price, and not doing more/charging more if it isn't needed. I had the repair completed the first few days of October 2023, and 6 weeks later it's still feeling solid and my car drives so much more smoothly after the fact.”

“Went to MJ Automative because I had car trouble and my friend highly recommended the brothers, Mario and Juan. They were friendly, accommodating, and patient with me for somebody who knows nothing about cars. Plus the price was great. They are honest and did not up sell me for anything. When I thought I needed a transmission fluid change and spark plug changes, (bc online suggested it), they told me they checked and it wasn't necessary. My car is running smoother after my oil change visit. I also got a quote from Oil Changers, Alameda and they charge 35% more for the same service. The brothers went above and beyond. They also fixed a minor dent for me when I asked for a quote on it, and Mario fixed it really quick in less than 5 minutes included with the cost of my visit; which my previous mechanic charged $200 extra for...(if you must know, it was the same place I dented twice. ) I am extremely happy with the service here. Thank you Mario and Juan! I will be back!”

“I don't know where to begin but the mechanic( Mr. Shin?) was amazing.When you walk in to mechanic shop, you will always hear, "we will order parts and.." insteadMr.Shin heard my situation and looked into my car,He made parts with existing wires( cutting and bit of welding) and fixed all my chewed up wires in my engine. He only charged $150.00I went to honda dealership and was estimated $2700.00 and it was done within 80 minutes.This was my very first time that I was truly thankful to a mechanic.”

“Chris , the owner of Holland Service , quickly found the source of a noise that I was concerned about . He took the time to go on a test drive with me to hear the noise . He then promptly put my Jeep on the lift & was able to show me where the noise was coming from . The rear driveshaft u joint was the source. Myself & other mechanics had looked for the source but were unable to find it due to the play in the u joint being very slight. Also when driving, the noise sounded like it was coming from the front of the vehicle. I spent a lot of time & money replacing front axles, u joints, & wheel bearings that were recommended by a different mechanic and still had the noise . “I have nothing but good things to say about German Auto Clinic. My mother's 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan left her on the side of the road 100 miles after an oil change and service at the dealer. Long story short, she was told the car either needed a $17,000 engine replacement or my mom had to get a new car.I worked for many years in car sales, so I went to speak to the dealer in the hopes of getting some more information and finding some solution but I was met with dishonesty and indifference.I found German Auto Clinic on Google and gave them a call. Jose was incredible. He was honest, full of good information and we put together a step by step plan to diagnose and see if we could save my mom's car.He was able to diagnose and repair the cause of the issue and he even found other things the VW service bay should of caught. In the end my mom has her car and I have a new mechanic.If you drive anything German and you want to keep it on the road, you really should bring it to German Auto Clinic.
