“My car wouldn't start. Luckily, I was stranded right at the pump next to Shell Auto Care. My toddler was asleep in the back and I didn't know what to do. I went into Shell Auto Care and Kathy came over, got my car started, drove it over to the Auto Care garage, read the error codes for me with her machine, wrote them down for me and explained what they meant, then poured something into my tank to address the problem (which is with the fuel injector) and told me to bring the car in early next business day so they could take a closer look at it with their better diagnostic machine. She didn't charge me for any of this--never once mentioned money. The whole event felt like a good neighbor helping a friend. The bottle she poured into my fuel tank was worth about $17, so I gave her $20 and thanked her profusely. I should have paid for labor too, but I didn't mention it and nobody blinked twice and instead they are earning my eternal gratitude and this Yelp review. My toddler didn't wake up until I started driving home. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much!”
“Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I work in orinda and have had this nasty noise coming from my rear wheel. 2 mechanics before taking it here told me they were “unsure” what the noise was. Jaimie, an incredible service advisor got me in within an hour of talking to him. Come to find out I was basically driving around a death machine due to bad prior mechanic work. Pete was the tech that got me all fixed and back on the road in an hour ! Would 1000000% recommend if you are looking for a fair, competent shop to take care of your prize possession, or even just your daily driver. Great price too!”
