I brought my car in for a fix, they did their repairs and I started driving away. I noticed an odd sound, so I turned around and brought it right back. They looked at it, saw there was something they missed, and fixed it right away with no additional cost (it was a minor thing). “I recently switched to The Service Outlet and I could not be any more pleased. As a single lady car owner who knows nothing about cars, I really wanted to find someone I trusted, or at least felt trust worthy. Art, at the front desk, has helped me incredibly since my "Emissions System Error" service light lit up on my 2016 Honda Civic last week. He immediately pulled the error code off my car, did some research and came up with a game plan. He sent me to Honda first to see if it was just a software update. Honda charged me $200 to do a diagnostics and they basically told me that they don't know what it is. They recommended a valve adjustment for $325 and it that didn't work then they want to replace my fuel injectors for $1650. I brought this info back to Art and he told me that it's not my valves, that I'd be hearing a clicking noise in my car if it was. He also told me that is piratically unheard of that a car as young as mine would need new injectors. He also told me I would know if one of my injectors was bad. I'm having zero issues with the car, just the damn engine light, everything else is working and sounding great. I take very good care of my car.Art then came up with a new plan for me.....he really "doesn't want me to spend any more money than I have too". He's having me call Honda and request Goodwill Assistance, since this is not a normal issue on my car. He advised me on how to get what I want from them. He also called his friend at Honda Oakland and gave me that guy's advice. He's gone above and beyond for me over the last week, and hasn't asked for a penny!We'll see what happens, but I cannot recommend The Service Outlet enough! I will tell everyone an anyone about Art and The Service Outlet!Thank you ART!!!!XO”

“I have a little old (2006) Subaru Outback. I parked it under a tree and owls pooped ALL OVER THE HOOD! It was so bad it ate through the paint to the metal! I brought it into JOSE AREVALO at Lafayette Car Wash/PAINT AND BODY REPAIR to see what they could do. I was most worried about color matching if they were just doing the hood. WOW!! Jose did the job and then some!!! I literally didn't recognize my own car it looked SO GOOD! He not only color matched to the original green but blended it in down the sides so you literally can not tell it is a newer paint! He also managed to somehow perfectly, strongly attach the trim that had been coming off in many different places (even Subaru WC couldn't do that... but Subaru did charge me!). He made sure the car was washed in and out WAY better then it has ever been. I was going to sell it as it was looking so shabby and the trim and paint were so bad... nope, I hanging on to it now!!! Thank you JOSE AREVALO!!! You are an artist!!”

California Star clarified which of those recommendations were actually urgent and which ones weren’t. Then they fixed one for me at a cost considerably lower than the lowest I got from a dealer. Dane was very friendly and professional. In my experience it’s not easy to find a good independent mechanic for Audis, and I feel I’ve found one in my own town. As a result, I am very optimistic about keeping our Audi long term.”
