I work in orinda and have had this nasty noise coming from my rear wheel. 2 mechanics before taking it here told me they were “unsure” what the noise was. Jaimie, an incredible service advisor got me in within an hour of talking to him. Come to find out I was basically driving around a death machine due to bad prior mechanic work. Pete was the tech that got me all fixed and back on the road in an hour ! Would 1000000% recommend if you are looking for a fair, competent shop to take care of your prize possession, or even just your daily driver. Great price too!”

“I needed one tire replaced after puncturing the sidewall of one tire. Vince was able to get the tire at a better price than any online source. He was also able to balance all of of me wheels and rotate with the total price was great.I arrived as scheduled and the work was completed very quickly.Most importantly Vince was able to effectively communicate better than any other shop I contacted via Yelp. All communications were professional and accurate. I wish more shops worked this way.”

“About a month go, my tire light came on and didn't feel comfortable driving all the way home from work so I stopped by here to have it checked. turns out, near the valve of the tire was damaged. So had them replace it. 15 mins later and $35 I was on my way. I noticed they did other services besides tires and made mental note.So, now it's been a minute (ok, about a year) since I had my old changed. Light never came on, but then my commute is 8 minutes and not 25 miles which could sometimes take me an 1.5 when I lived down south. I also had a great mechanic in LB so was hesitant and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay dealership service charges and then tell me I needed something "extra". Got off work early and called to see if they had availability for that day. Yes they did. 5 mins later, I was here (conveniently located near my job) no frills, no upcharge and 30 min later, and 79.00 voila, synthetic oil change and good to go for another 6 months. Friendly, better bureau registered and registered with State of CA. Legit service. Cash or Debit card only. Says it on the wall, I'm saying it in the review so no excuse to say ya didnt know.”

“Highly recommend! Legit work at a fair price.These guys are fantastic. Not the prettiest place to look at but I'm not trying to get my tires replaced in Apple Store.Came in with a flat on my Mini Countryman, bossman pointed out that the passenger front tire was also in bad shape so I replaced both.Tires weren't on site but he said they could be there by 3. I got a call at 315 saying my car was ready. I didn't even ask the price but it was much lower than I had expected. Tires aren't cheap!”

“I'm a bit disappointed to have to give RT a 4 star review as historically I have had good experiences with them. Their prices and selection tend to be very good, and I have had good service in the past.On my most recent visit a couple weeks ago (11/9), I purchased and had installed a set of 4 higher end tires (275/35/21). The price was very reasonable ($850 out the door), and they could install them right away. I walked down the street for some coffee, and the vehicle was ready when I came back. If my experience ended there, it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, that Sunday (11/12) I noticed the car was missing its lug caps on one of my wheels. I know they were present prior to the install as I had coincidentally taken a picture the day before they put the new tires on and the car was in the background where you can clearly see them (and who the heck would steal lug caps, especially off only one wheel). RT was closed as it was Sunday so I went the following Monday (11/13). When I went in, I asked the person at the front desk if they had any missing lug caps. He said their side had nothing to do with the installs as they just sold the tires so he sent me to the back. A young man came out and tried to help me, claiming they had just cleaned the shop and they hadn't seen any caps. He searched the back and checked a couple spots up front. He also had me check my spare tire and glove box, but no luck. He then took down my number telling me his manager would call me, but it's now been a week and a half with no callback. If they had found my lug caps, offered to replace them (we're talking less than $20 in parts), or even offered me like $15-20 in future credit, I wouldn't be docking them a star. Unfortunately they didn't even bother to call back so here we are. So bottom line is I still recommend RT, but make sure to double check their work and ensure you have all your lug caps!”

“I am totally satisfied with the service I received! I needed emergency repairs and they listened to all my concerns and did a very thorough diagnostic of my car. They explained everything in detail, and gave me options that I was comfortable with. The repairs were done quickly and I got my car back when they said it would be done. “I have been going to Ace Auto Care since I moved to Lafayette, and continued going since I moved to Concord. They are respectful, honest, and fair. It may not be as convenient for me to bring my car back to Lafayette, but I know they will take care of my car.An example of their integrity: I have many stories of them being upstanding mechanics, but this one stood out to me the most. I brought my car in for a fix, they did their repairs and I started driving away. I noticed an odd sound, so I turned around and brought it right back. They looked at it, saw there was something they missed, and fixed it right away with no additional cost (it was a minor thing). “I have nothing but good things to say about German Auto Clinic. My mother's 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan left her on the side of the road 100 miles after an oil change and service at the dealer. Long story short, she was told the car either needed a $17,000 engine replacement or my mom had to get a new car.I worked for many years in car sales, so I went to speak to the dealer in the hopes of getting some more information and finding some solution but I was met with dishonesty and indifference.I found German Auto Clinic on Google and gave them a call. Jose was incredible. He was honest, full of good information and we put together a step by step plan to diagnose and see if we could save my mom's car.He was able to diagnose and repair the cause of the issue and he even found other things the VW service bay should of caught. In the end my mom has her car and I have a new mechanic.If you drive anything German and you want to keep it on the road, you really should bring it to German Auto Clinic. “I've been going here for years now and I've never had a bad experience. I'm writing this because they deserve 100 stars in my opinion. Today I walked in expecting to replace two tires . James walked up to me and treated me like family. He said, " you were just here in march , what's going on?" They checked the tread which is still good and instead of selling me tires I didn't need they pulled out the nails and patched me up. I was there 15 minutes and spent 40 bucks! They have integrity that is nearly impossible to find anymore. James, Tim and the entire staff will take care of you no matter what your budget, or tire needs are. I can't give a review good enough for them. I will always take my business to them”

“I called on a Saturday around 11am for my car's starter issue and was told I could come in right away. They had to order parts before noon so when I arrived at 11:30am, a mechanic took a quick look and confirmed the issue before a new starter was ordered. The person who answered the initial call was the one who helped me when I arrived and was very patient and friendly. She offered 2 choices for the starter and said they could get it taken care of the day of. The part would be delivered at 1:30pm and they would work on it right away. They quoted me $310 for the starter and $130 for one hour of labor for a grand total of $470 including tax. I had a comfortable wait in their office which has 4 chairs plus they have a strong Xfinity wifi signal. They said that if they weren't so busy, they could have offered me a ride home.The car was ready at 2:35pm. Overall, excellent service and open on Saturdays! This may be my new go-to car spot now.”

“Had a flat (flattening?) tire and was hoping for a repair, so I called Orozco's. They said to bring it on by, no appointment necessary.They got me in immediately. Then I saw a sign that said 'cash only' and started to panic. One of the gentlemen told me that there was a bank just a block away, so I walked over.By the time I returned, the job was done. $30 for the repair, which seemed reasonable.As I was paying, I noted that the 'cash only' sign said for 'used tires' and something else. So I don't know if I actually had to pay cash. But I was glad to get it done so quickly. I'd come here again for future service.”
