Oil Change in Oakland, CA

“About a month go, my tire light came on and didn't feel comfortable driving all the way home from work so I stopped by here to have it checked. turns out, near the valve of the tire was damaged. So had them replace it. 15 mins later and $35 I was on my way. I noticed they did other services besides tires and made mental note.So, now it's been a minute (ok, about a year) since I had my old changed. Light never came on, but then my commute is 8 minutes and not 25 miles which could sometimes take me an 1.5 when I lived down south. I also had a great mechanic in LB so was hesitant and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay dealership service charges and then tell me I needed something "extra". Got off work early and called to see if they had availability for that day. Yes they did. 5 mins later, I was here (conveniently located near my job) no frills, no upcharge and 30 min later, and 79.00 voila, synthetic oil change and good to go for another 6 months. Friendly, better bureau registered and registered with State of CA. Legit service. Cash or Debit card only. Says it on the wall, I'm saying it in the review so no excuse to say ya didnt know.”

“I've had the good fortune of meeting Goitom 15+years ago. And have never bought tires anywhere else since. He is fair, honorable, and he works with a very stable crew of folk. Mid-day waits can be long for a simple repair. But listening to his crew of happy customers all share their stories is worth the time spent.”

“It'd be 5 stars if the place we're a bit bigger. The staff can't do anything about that though. If you're coming at rush time you'll probably be stuck in the street waiting in line which can get awkward. But the service is great everyone knows what they're doing. Once you get to the front it goes by pretty quickly. They also do courtesy checks for your transmission fluid and some other things. Overall it's a nice experience.”

“This is overdue but none the less I couldn't be happier to have found a local shop to work on my 2015 golf. I am a female and well I don't know crap about cars so anytime I have had to deal with car troubles you know the anxiety level is at its worst. I had the car vandalized recently with a hole in the gas tank (I still love you Oakland) ...they fixed it right away and stayed in communication with me the entire time. The staff has been amazing and I would highly recommend Jose and team to anyone. I have found my shop albeit I hope I dont' have to visit often. :) Tiffany”

“It's a good place to get your car serviced for more then one, but actually a few reasons. One being the fact that they're hardly ever real busy, so it doesn't take long for whatever you're having done to get done. Also, even when they do just so happen to be a bit busy, they're still pretty quick. Basically the few reasons would be 1. They're quick, 2. Efficient, 3. They work can be relied on, Because of the many locations they have, you can almost be anywhere for your service update, top-off, or any other conclusion to work to had done previously by them.”

If you need quick oil change and don't have time, this is the place to go. I went to other wash in town and they're nothing compared to this place.”

“I needed to get my brakes inspected since I felt my car stopping abilities just weren't up to snuff for these Oakland roads. Had noticed this shop while we were walking towards our pho stop. Seemed like a decent family shop to take my care in. It's located in an inconspicuous area. The owner greeted me and proceeded to address my questions. They charge $80 for a safety inspection and that seemed reasonable since I would never dare take it to a shop fear of getting bamboozled being a female. I knew I needed new brakes and rotors. He honestly told me only the front rotors need replacement since my back rotors are still functional. (If I went anywhere else that's not the response I would get.) They provided a reasonable quote for the replacements compared to the other shops that I got quotes from the area. I deserted my car and 5 hours later my was car ready. Granted that I got no where to go these days my car is running great as expected. I'm definitely coming back for my car needs. Rare to find friendly honest businesses nowadays especially to trust my car with.”

“I had the best Oil Changing service EVER! I just went to have my oil changed for my Prius-2010, all the services I received were out of my expectation. First they recommended with the relevant oil type (Synthetic) for the better function of my car's engine (after reading about the oil type, I discovered that the oil type they recommended was the ideal one and is recommended by Toyota themselves). They checked my AC and replaced the old and dusty cabin air filter which was giving dusty smell whenever the AC was on (now I'm experiencing fresh air whenever i switch on the AC), checked the water level and added more and did some extra inspections, like checking the tires and made sure if all lights were working. All the employees over there are friendly and very respectful...... the level of professionalism of all of the mechanics there is phenomenal! Now they have me for ever! I highly recommend this shop!”
