“This was my first visit to Fred's Wrenchouse, and I had a great experience. My repair could have cost more than it did, but they simply did what was necessary to make my car both driveable and aesthetically pleasing and I was on my way a few hours later. This process was made easier because after I dropped my car off in the morning, I was able to go around the corner to Pete's coffee and worked there for 4-4.5 hours on my laptop, and my car was ready to be picked up before 2 PM. Clearly, with all their high ratings here on Yelp, this business doesn't need another one, but I think it's important to keep reviewing so that new customers know they are still doing quality work, in a reasonable amount of time, for a fair market price, and not doing more/charging more if it isn't needed. I had the repair completed the first few days of October 2023, and 6 weeks later it's still feeling solid and my car drives so much more smoothly after the fact.”

“My car broke down last Thursday, and I was trying to find a mechanic to take my car to. Car Care Service was very responsive and was able to accommodate my tow-in at the last minute. Long was friendly and helped me complete my intake paper quickly right before they closed. My car is running great and the price for the repair of my alternator it was pretty reasonable. None of the nearby gas stations had a pressure gauge, so I took my car here and Craig was very friendly and professional! He pumped air free of charge into all the tires, inspected them briefly, and said if there's any issues to come right on back. Turns out there weren't any additional issues after that, but if it comes up I'm definitely coming here. Craig felt like family! Thanks for taking care of my car.”

“I needed smog certification for my old car that was sitting for months. Central Auto was great. They told me if it were sitting for extended period of time I need to run it for 45 minutes or an hour to clean it out so would pass. I did what they suggested and it passed. The mechanics were very friendly and knowledgeable. Also I needed to get it inspected ASAP since my registration had expired. They could look at the car right away, know long waits. Great service and experience.”

“We recently were gifted a used Audi and it needed a service. Albert did the service on the car and called me to tell me about some issues he had found, but he did not charge me for the codes or for his diagnosis. He suggested I bring the car back to the Audi dealer where it had been serviced for years as he said some of the troubles were probably caused by their work. Audi proceeded to charge me a couple of hundred dollars to re-run the codes and then quoted me for a major job. I paid for the codes but decided to bring the car back to Albert (much more trustworthy) who completed the work (and did extra) and the price was still less than Audi's by about $200. Albert is very honest and helpful and a nice person. I will definitely be returning there and would recommend him over the dealer anytime!”
