“So happy I stopped here while in Newbury Park. I like like my Ross is already picked out for my Christmas decor shopping. I had just stopped at the Oxnard one and found nothing . At this location, I found beautiful wreaths and garlands! So affordable too. The garland was only 14 and the wreaths 21. Both so beautiful and flocked with artificial snow! This location is cleans and not busy at all. Great customer service. I was in and out within a few minutes. Woohoo for us November Christmas decorators!! Getting the Christmas spirit going!”

“My friend and I stopped by last minute for a veil - rookie mistake, we should have called before making our way over because this is a design studio. They don't have any items for sale in store. The owner explained it's by appointment only and gave me several options in the surrounding areas for a veil. This was so helpful and kind of her! “I've visited this new store several times now, and it's clean, spacious and well-organized. The selection of boots is pretty amazing and about what you might expect from a store called: "Boot Barn." They also have a large inventory of both men and women's clothes, including jeans, shirts, jackets, belts, hats and a decent variety of work clothes. Despite the western theme, they also have work, hiking and casual boots, although they don't carry premier brands of hiking boots, like you'll find at REI. But for the casual hiker, they will definitely have what you need. One nice thing about the store is the central seating area, replete with a comfortable sofa and coffee table. It's nice for relatives and loved ones who go shopping with you, who probably don't want to tag along in the aisles. This store is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your best friend along too. However this store isn't perfect and it falls short in some ways. While there are some incredibly helpful, outgoing and courteous associates, such as Stacey and Sarah, many of the other associates appear to be disengaged, less-focused and even a little rude. I caught one middle manager scolding an employee in front of a customer, and another young female associate rolled her eyes behind a staff member's back. A lot of the staff are very young, and they may not have great people skills or maturity yet. Some good customer service training might be in-order for some of the younger employees. Also while temperature is often a subjective thing, this store is uncomfortably warm, during this Summer. Either the air conditioning isn't working properly or management has decided to save a few dollars at the expense of their customers. Walking around a big store while it's warm is no fun. Their selection of products is pretty good, but it's obvious that the store heavily promotes and stocks some brands, such as Wrangler over other brands, such as Levis. This is probably a corporate decision, which is out of their control, but it's nice for customers to easily see and shop for their own preferred brands. I can definitely recommend this Boot Barn location, and with a few simple improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars...”

“Can be hard to get help and they don't care a huge selection but this is our go to for some of the brands we like. They carry more than the WLV location and returns are usually smooth. They carry kids sizes, mens, women's, shoes, etc and literally are ALWAYS running a sale. I grew up on this brand which is notorious for carrying the best skate, surf and streetwear brands”

The discounts are great which allows you to buy good quality clothes at a fraction of the price. The only negative is that the queue at the checkouts is always huge as they never have more than 2 or 3 open.”

“Novelty store in The Oaks mall that has some cute gift items. Lots of Loungefly if you're into Disney gear. Also some Asian mech like Naruto, Sanrio and some mochi snacks by the register (reiterating *some*). Never had a problem with staff in the store, the kids (gah I feel old lol) just let me be and browse along. Cool store window shop or buy a knick-knack or a small token. “Custom Jewelry - seriously folks this place is legitimately the coolest place completely AWAY from Melrose! You walk in and you see purses from vinyls and covers! Shoes for men and women. Belts-custom belts....guitar pick earrings and necklaces....omg I can go on! My next purchase is going to be some flannels she has in her store. I want these bike chain bracelets she has in the store but sadly my wrist is just too dang small! It's going to have to be custom again.”
