“So, I believed that I needed to have my rear brakes done. I had 90k+ miles on my 2009 Honda Fit. I also heard some squeaking in the rear when braking (occasionally) and heard a grinding noise when I put on the parking brake with the car on a slight rearward incline.I went to Frank's shop to set up an appointment (I was in the area.) He gave me a quote for ~$580 for brake shoes, drums, & labor, and so I set up an appointment. Hellava better price what than what the Honda dealership was charging.($1100)On my appointment day, dropped off the car in the early AM. Got a call from Frank about 2 hours later. He said that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. The shoes still had enough meat on them, and the drums were in good condition. I know that most of the braking was done on the front brakes (front brake pads were replaced at 76K). Still, 90K miles on the rear brakes. WoW!!Frank said the car would be ready in about an hour. Frank stated that the rear brake system was put back together, and adjusted. He checked the struts & shocks: All was OK, and the car was in good condition.My wife and I went to pick up the car in the afternoon. I asked how much for his labor. He said there was no charge. We protested as he did use some labor to check out the car. (I know. I know. Paying money when there is no need to, makes no sense. But we felt that he did some work, and gave us some peace of mind.) Frank stated that he doesn't charge for an inspection.Well. A less scrupulous mechanic would have replaced the shoes & drums, and not thought any more about it. Frank said "Well, I gotta sleep at night."So I'm very pleased with Frank and his service philosophy. I think that his garage full of work and all the positive 5 star ratings on Yelp is indicative of Frank and the work he and his mechanics do. We'll be back for servicing in the future.”

His price estimates were absolutely reasonable and the requested work was completed quickly and thoroughly. “I so appreciate the knowledge & honesty at Country Auto. My '69 mustang was making a weird noise when turning the wheel. A neighbor with the same car gave me some F Type power steering fluid. The reservoir was full. I called Country Auto yesterday morning. My husband has been going to Mike and his team for years. I expected to get an appointment in the future. However, Mike said to bring the car in before lunch and someone would take a look to see if it was a simple matter of adjusting a belt. The issue ended up being a pump. I left the car overnight and picked it up my today. It has a new pump and was under warranty :) the car is purring, no weird noises. The front office and mechanics are all so kind and knowledgeable.”

My tire light came on for 3 tires on my Range Rover and I thought I had pumped enough air in them, but the light would not turn off, so I took it here to get checked out. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and offered to take a look on the spot. He topped off all my tires and was able to get the light off. I guess I did not put in the right amount of air.
