“I have been sewing for about a decade. I have a ton of vintage and antique sewing machines that I have been able to repair myself. I'm pretty handy like that. Recently, I had the opportunity to buy a Bernina Artista. It worked well until I tried to do a simple zig-zag stitch and was just getting one single row of straight stitching. Computerized Berninas are not something I feel comfortable trying to repair myself. I decided to bring it in, having never been to this place. While there, the young man at the counter filled me in on what I already knew about the temperamental, outdated Artista. He recommended a used Virtuosa they had for sale. It was very fairly priced. I knew I needed a daily machine that I could just use with no problems or fussiness. I went back and bought it because after trying a Bernina, you really don't want to use any other brand. The stitch quality really is the best. It's not just hype. I just have no plans on dropping thousands for on of the new Berninas. I have used my Bernina Virtuosa every single day, since I bought it, 3 months ago. I am so glad I went in. It has given me zero problems.They also have a ton of QUALITY thread. I learned early on that cheap thread (from Joann) is not worth the spool they wrap it on. The sewing machine shop has Metler and Aurofil and I don't have to wait for an online order to come in or try to color match online.The prices for sewing machine service are very fair. I will continue to rehab and repair old machines myself, because I love doing so but for all Bernina-related service and accessories, I highly recommend this place.”

“My wife dispatched me to find a good, solid washer and dryer to replace our deceased 30-year-old artifacts. "Let's try local," she suggested. Boy, did I find out why this was a great idea! 30 seconds after walking in, John smiled, I repeated my directives to him. No hassles, no confusion. 30 more seconds and the answer was clear. "Tomorrow ok for delivery?" Price was right. The next afternoon, all was done.There was a touchscreen on the dryer which my wife surprisingly didn't like. I returned to John. 45 seconds later we selected a tactile version of the same basic washer. Similar price. "Jose will be there about noon today and swap it out." That's exactly what happened. Jose's attitude was engaging while his hands were nimble, and by 12:15 all was done. Wife's happy, so I'm happy. Zero hassle. Zero struggle. No nonsense. I thought about what an ordeal this could've been dealing with a big box store. "Well, we need to arrange a pickup and call you sometime next week. It needs to come from the warehouse in Kansas City." Would I have save anything? Certainly not, especially valuing my own time and peace of mind.There's a reason they've been in business forever. Repeat customers, of which I will be one for sure! Oh and no," we'd really appreciate a nice review."”

I always wanted to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity but never got the chance.Habitat for Humanity ReStores is perfect for anyone who wants to remodel their home but lacks the funding. Most of the products here are donated and are super affordable. The money or "so-called profits" goes back to helping the organization. Win-win! Ok I'm tired. “The weekend after Thanksgiving, I got my much-planned Sebo E2 here. It was $100 off, and they put it together in the store for me. The person who helped me was very pleasant, we had a nice chat about vacuums and models, and I didn't feel pressured to buy something more expensive. He even put the vacuum in my car for me. There is a dog named Kirby, and my only regret is that I didn't get to pet him.”

“Went there on a rainy windy night to pick up a bath tub half an hour before the store was closing. Super grateful for the security guard, Columbus, who went above and beyond his job duties to help us put the tub into the truck. He was so kind and thoughtful to tell me to stay under the covering so that I did not get wet in the rain. Nicest security I’ve ever encountered at Vallejo. Five star rating on his excellent customer service. ??”

“First thing I love about this store is the Veteran/Military Discount Program and how it keeps track of my transactions. The staff is very friendly and helpful here. Self-service check outs are a plus. The parking lot is clean meaning not billion carts everywhere and no debris to trip over. Prices are good and affordable. Sales are frequently and competitive.”

“Had such a great experience with Accurate, Rick! He was so polite, nice and efficient. We had an issue with our Decor fridge, Decor gave a one-time free repair and Accurate was the service provider. Rick was so quick figure out the problem, ran back to the shop to get a missing piece and came back the same day and now we have ICE! Would recommend them to everyone. Kris”

“Walked in unannounced to find a broken switch I needed for my GE dryer. They didn't have the part in stock but they were very accommodating and sourced the part which I'll pick up tomorrow from them. Great resource and a dying breed for the DYI'ers and really appreciate their existence.”

I have a 1972 Williams OXO I could not get working and I called Chris we made an appointment on Dec 13. within a few hours he had the machine working perfect. on Dec 23 I was having problems and sent a email asking if he could direct me to correct the problem. On Dec.24 Chris called me ON CHRISTMAS EVE! He asked a few questions and gave me direction on what to do to correct the problem! My machine now again works perfect. A 50 year old machine needs to have the switches cleaned and adjusted and there are many on my machine. Chris told me which switches needed attention! I was very impressed that Chris would take time on Christmas Eve to help Me. Who does that! Chris is the best!”

“I bought a dishwasher just a teensy bit too big for our cut out (my fault). Deven was able to process an exchange for different model that fit and we were able to go pick it up the SAME DAY. He even called me the next day to process a refund because the replacement unit was a little less on the price tag. What great service!”

“I have been purchasing appliance parts from Ray for years. When something is not working, he is my go to. I recently hired him to come into my home and fix my oven. When I visited him at his shop to tell him what was happening with my oven he asked me a couple of questions and informed me of what he thought the problem was. Told me exactly what it was going to cost if it was indeed that problem. I hired him on the spot. He showed up exactly when he said he was going to show up. He actually called me to tell me he was on his way. He showed up with the correct part, tested my oven, and had it completely repaired within 40 minutes. I couldn't be happier. He is incredibly respectful, professional, and personable. at the same time. I would hire him again in a second.”

“Owner Daryl is a true master! He loves and knows his art. He's been doing this since 1972. He is one of those geniuses who has a gifted talent for mechanical things and how to assess, evaluate, fix and repair them! I found a vintage sewing machine online and others would have dumped it in Goodwill and then it would have ended up in the landfill, broken and destroyed. Darrel explained how this machine is worthy of being repaired - and that is admirable. He has a full retail store with new appliances and does full service repair and he also has used and vintage machines fully repaired to sell at a good price too. He does all his own work, you'll get the master's touch yourself! He will fix the one I brought in and make it like new again.Thank you Daryl! “This is a rating for the Lumber Associate only. His name is Leo and he was awesome to put it simply. I came in yesterday with a project in mind and he patiently and efficiently helped me get my shopping list completed. One of the items was lumber and I wasn't sure what I needed. After having to pick up lots of heavy wood and then eventually putting them back (because I told him the wrong size, oops) he was still so patient and helpful and then got me the ones I did need. He sorted through the entire pile to get me the best boards, when I might not have even known the difference. He also cut every board for me and pushed my heavy cart for me. As a young woman I feel somewhat intimidated going to places like Home Depot, but associates like Leo really give me more confidence and make me want to do more projects!! Thank you Leo!”

It had been sometimes since I use my Home Depot card and that was not an option while I was shopping online. I did reach out to the customer service line and the gentleman was very helpful pleasant Was able to find me easily and we had a wonderful discussion. I added a fairly significantly priced item to my order at that time mainly because I just felt comfortable. Customer Service on the phone call was above and beyond. Now I had set both of my orders it had to be split, because the large one was coming from a different warehouse For delivery. A smaller order of some galvanized roofing material and a couple other things I set up for delivery. It was easy it was very inexpensive and it was at my house before I woke up look I've got access to trucks if I ask, I do have a utility trailer. It's kind of a pain in the you know what to hook up and get down there and get back home absolutely, wonderful experience with that delivery now I am able to jump to work first thing this morning with everything that I need. I will continue to shop at Home Depot. Thank you for the great service.”

“We visited on 7/10/23, looking for a length of flexible spa hose to finish setting up a hot tub in our backyard. We had already gone to one Home Depot and had issues. We located the hose in question, but wanted to buy per-foot, rather than an entire roll of hose. This was something they had a SKU for, but they didn't have 8 feet of loose tubing for us. Eventually, we took the roll up to check out and explained the situation to Sylvia. Other places might insist that we buy the entire roll. Instead, she stuck with us, and found Jose, who could do the cutting we needed.Thank you to Sylvia and Jose for going above and beyond in order to make it work. It took a little while to get the right people, but they didn't abandon us, and they made sure to keep with it until we had resolution.”

“It's less hectic than some busier store most times. Well stocked. Most employees very helpful. great parking. Has a number of electic carts for disabled folks that can't walk so well. Bathrooms reasonably clean. All the reason I rated a 4 star.”
