“I recently purchased 750 sq. feet of sod from the Sod Shop. I had them install it after I did all the necessary prep work (rototilling in topsoil, leveling, etc. ). Kim took the time to go over with me what I had to do and how to do it. She was so helpful and patient with all my questions. She was very polite and friendly. The sod was fresh and they did an excellent job installing it. I would very highly recommend The Sod Shop to anyone wanting to install sod. I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge.”

“Contra Costa Topsoil is a family run operation. You can tell because they go the extra mile for you. Tonja works in the office --and she makes deliveries too! She's very professional and friendly. Arrived on time as promised and took great care in maneuvering the truck to an area we picked. She took extra precautions to prevent damage to edge of the pavers and made sure to ask about any sprinkler heads being in the area. In scheduling the delivery she gave up some of her weekend to make this delivery happen in a timely manner. I really appreciate this extra attention to detail, and you can be sure we will be returning customers. THANK YOU TONJAAlso: I Iove the special Ruth Bancroft Blend Soil which they make onsite. It is a light mix; has pumice and perlite as well as other ingredients which ensure drainage and a steady diet of micronutrients. In addition to using it to make some raised succulent/cactus beds I'm spreading it lightly over my whole garden.”
