“Very good selection for a small store. Prices are generally higherthan Home Depot or Lowes but the drive is much shorter. For buying a lot of items they do a better job than the big stores. Likefasteners and similar - you can buy them individually and the selection isactually better than the big stores.We just bought an electric chainsaw on sale and they were the cheapest.The staff is very helpful and you don't have to look around for 15 minutes.”

You never know what they will have on clearance there. Today they had a skill radial arm saw for a hundred and fifty bucks . That's like 100 off.”

“I live right up the road and I always come here for any woodworking tools. Many of the larger retail stores do not carry the intricate tools and equipment that Rockler does when it comes to woodworking. Their staff is really knowledgeable and if you ask for assistance they will help you find the right product and they don't hover while you look at the items on the shelf (which is very much appreciated). Once I convince my wife to let me buy a drill press, I'm heading up there and buying one (good prices and good selection).”

“Yesterday I was attemping to change the gasketing on my wood burning stove. When I unscrewed a screw that holds the glass. The screw broke and got jammed. I thought that I was out of luck and that I needed to buy an entire new piece. I decided to bring the piece into the ace hardware in auburn ca. When I did one of the employees by the name of Vader brought the piece too their back and had to work on it for a half hour and was able to get the screw out. I offered to pay him and he said that he was happy that he could help and didn't want any money. Not only did he go out of his way free of charge. He saved me at least a couple hundred dollars to replace the piece. My experience at this store is night and day difference compared to home depot where some of the staff looks irritated when you ask for help.”

The big dude at the counter helped me locate the correct capacitor in their humongous warehouse. Price was great and service was awesome. Will be back. Even if I have to drive from Folsom again.
