“I live right up the road and I always come here for any woodworking tools. Many of the larger retail stores do not carry the intricate tools and equipment that Rockler does when it comes to woodworking. Their staff is really knowledgeable and if you ask for assistance they will help you find the right product and they don't hover while you look at the items on the shelf (which is very much appreciated). Once I convince my wife to let me buy a drill press, I'm heading up there and buying one (good prices and good selection).”

I was impressed that he took the time to protect the items in my home from the small amount of dust that occurs during the install. Wow after the install and a short tutorial they cleaned up and were on their way. He knows his business and is very customer friendly. Debra J”

“Yesterday I was attemping to change the gasketing on my wood burning stove. When I unscrewed a screw that holds the glass. The screw broke and got jammed. I thought that I was out of luck and that I needed to buy an entire new piece. I decided to bring the piece into the ace hardware in auburn ca. When I did one of the employees by the name of Vader brought the piece too their back and had to work on it for a half hour and was able to get the screw out. I offered to pay him and he said that he was happy that he could help and didn't want any money. Not only did he go out of his way free of charge. He saved me at least a couple hundred dollars to replace the piece. My experience at this store is night and day difference compared to home depot where some of the staff looks irritated when you ask for help.”

“First of all, this is a contractor store so I felt a bit apprehensive going in for the first time as I am just a DIY homeowner trying to fix my drip system. As soon as I walked in , Michael greeted me and made me feel right at home. He personally walked me thru my project and hand picked all the parts I needed himself! Later that day I had to go back for another part and Roberto provided me with the exact same level of service. It's clear that service is a big part of their store culture and they perform the lost art of customer service better than almost any other business I have encountered in the last year. “Very good selection for a small store. Prices are generally higherthan Home Depot or Lowes but the drive is much shorter. For buying a lot of items they do a better job than the big stores. Likefasteners and similar - you can buy them individually and the selection isactually better than the big stores.We just bought an electric chainsaw on sale and they were the cheapest.The staff is very helpful and you don't have to look around for 15 minutes.”
