“I wish our planet would bond and interact with kindness, love, and understanding toward one another just like this place! I had the pleasure to make some super cool cupcakes for this location. Joshua Cary contacted me for a specific order that he needed to kick off one of their awesome events. I was given a one on one tour and was super impressed with all they implement and offer. There are so many services that cater to individual needs. If you have Facebook add them to keep up with local events and updates. You just might find something that tailors to you. LINK:::: (facebook.com/FresnoEOC.LGBTQ) Hats off to offering counseling and mental health workshops. I'm excited to see this kick a@s Center continuing to spread joy, and resources into our awesome Fresno Community that we so desperately needed.”

“World Impact is an awesome organization that tries to share God's love with the down and out in Fresno. My experience with them has been as a youth pastor leading a group of kids and adults to partner with World Impact this past summer. They are incredible hosts and did an amazing job of giving some serious perspective and action steps for our suburban group. We liked it so much that we're also going to be partnering with them for their Christmas outreach to the community. Here's what I know they do... Host and support churches. Host basketball outreach. Hold after school programs for children. Coordinate a food pantry. Run a thrift shop that helps fund their mission. That's some of what they do.”

“I have been a member here for almost 10 years now. My original intention was to make one video, to expose CITIBANK for what they had done to my mother. Financial elder abuse, in my opinion. But, it was so much fun, and I met so many interesting people that I decided to stay on. CMAC has opened doors for me that I couldn’t even imagine 10 years ago!”

“After fighting us to stay in her home, our mom thanks us now for moving her to the Nazareth House. Her quality of life has improved so much. She is hardly ever in her room and always busy with the planned activities or playing cards in the lounge. The nurses are so kind and caring. They always look out for mom and get her where she needs to go. The staff is very helpful and always responsive whenever we need anything. We love that the care is progressive and mom is in her forever home. While no facility can be perfect, the Nazareth House is as good as they come. Having the peace of mind knowing that mom is well cared for is priceless.”

“My son has attended tutoring at this center. It is a great center, they have Fresno State students assisting with the tutoring and they keep track of your child's grades to help in the area they need help in. My son is also volunteering for their summer camp, he loves it and excited to be assisting. I would highly recommend this to any parent they be satisfied with the outcome.”

“Nice holiday event for the entire family. Assembled gingerbread houses and entered them into a contest, played ring toss game and other fun activities, colored fabric stockings, and took a photo with Santa Claus. Refreshments available. Everything was free, including the photo. Received a calendar of events that will be held at the Ted C Wills Community Center in January 2024. I may return next month for more gingerbread activities!”

“This is a God's send for any women who are homeless or in need of a place to be durning the day. They can assist with clothes & some home items. It's been awhile since I've been there but they had a computer room & sewing room to work in when I was there. They do have certain days & times for some services so I'd call and check with staff. Everyone there is nice & respectful even when dealing with troublesome attitudes. They've ALWAYS gone above and beyond for me and I'm extremely grateful for them. Thank you Saint Agnes,Holy Cross center, and all that support them. Keep up the love....!”

“As a Child, My brothers and I grew up across the street from Dickeys playground, We participated in every sports possible. Our coach name was Paul and Hank, Sometimes Henry, but when it came down to life changing field trips with other friends that are family 20 years later. Alphonso was the man who took care of all of us. I remember Alphonso, Paul, and Hank and Okland in an all white lowrider, walking, leading us to City Hall and remember watching Alphonso speak on behalf of the families and children. This was when we were 13 years of age something that stuck with me and also many friends of ours . It makes me so proud to have known all these Godly saints .They took care of us all and even through the bad we helped the 93701 area is a mixture of many race and culture, but the Chicano imprint that Alphonso and his staff did there will forever be a historical land mark in my eyes . Thank you Evryone including rhe science center for taking us on fields trips to the beach zoo mountains snowboarding sixflag Santa Cruz. I really wish to do the same in my future and follow the steps that are necessary to achieve helping my community because our youth are important and the leaders of the chicano youth center undsrstood, that us fatherless children needed rolemodles to see a better future. I would be dead or indulged in gangs if it wasn't for what theses coaches did for us. Hands down something I will never forget and neither would my friends . Relationships are important and the staff there knew this, no matter what shape or color you were the doors were open. And they were available to sit and talk or play pool or ping-pong haha Alphonso was the champion at ping-pong.Rest easy BearRest easy Alphonso”

“Being in nursing, it's hard to not get attached or become overprotective of them. Several of my clients attend UCP and I am very happy with this learning program. UCP is opened to all people with developmental disabilities, but the wait list can be a lengthy one, a year long. There are several classes offered, extra curricular events, weekly outings in the community, and even a summer camp. Transportation is also offered. The staff is always welcoming, warm, smiling, and energetic. It also great when staff knows everyone's name! My clients are happy with their program, and from experiences with other programs in the valley, this is my absolute top choice.”

“Great service! The people there are really understanding, very nice people. There's one of the most professional places I've been in a very long time. The guy we went there to do the intake on very young! Very young to be blind we're going blind by accident! With the people at the center for the blind I really really looking forward to helping him! It was a delight to see someone be able to get help for something so tragic”

“Their not just a building full of social workers. Their a home full of real people bringing families and foster parents together. Putting on events that make the kids feel happy (and me). The staff makes you feel comfortable and call you by name, even though I can’t remember theirs. I’ve only visited one other agency and it really made me appreciate the environment that we have here at Golden State Family Services. I’m so glad to be apart of the Golden State Family.”

“This is a place you can go if you're homeless to try and see if they will assist you if you need any kind of assistance you have to get there before 7:00 a.m. that's when they open the gate and you have to get a number you could be there for hours or not and you may not even get a bed so you have to show up every day hoping to get a bed and if you looking for permanent housing as well.”
