As a consumer of this organization, I agree that RICV is a wonderful advocate for people with disabilities. They have multiple groups that teaches others important skills and lessons that will help them become independent citizens of our country.

From Resources For Independence
Empowering Independence. Improving Lives. RICV was established in 1976 to empower the independence and improve the lives of people with disabilities in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced and Tulare Counties.
RICV offers the guidance and tools to assist persons with disabilities in achieving their own vision of what independence means to them and to self-advocate for themselves.
Programs currently offered are: Cooking for Independence, Peer Support, Be About It, Driving Simulator, Voice Options, Emergency Preparedness, Assistive Technology and Information and Referral.
