“I can't share enough good things about Waterhouse. We had been seeing them for routine visits for our pets for years when our dog started having persistent GI issues and lost a lot of weight. Blood work showed some changes but nothing too alarming. Through Waterhouse we were able to see an Internal Medicine specialist a few weeks later. Then we discovered that our dog had a large tumor on her liver. At first we thought we might have to travel to the Bay Area for surgery, but they were able to schedule us with their traveling surgeon, Dr. Vida. Dr. Vida was able to remove her tumor, and she experienced no complications in her recovery. We are eternally grateful to Waterhouse for saving her life! She has gained her weight and energy back and it's like she is a puppy all over again. The cost is NOT cheap, but we are ever impressed with the high standard of care and compassion that our pets receive here.”

“Very caring vets. Both vets father and son are very compassionate and never try to push expensive unnecessary treatments. I have been going here since 2013 I belive and all my animals go here. They have been with me when my cat of 23 years needed to be put down as her kidney failure was no longer treatable and the son was so very heartfelt and caring. I also have a massive unhelpful shephard that they are very patient with. My pit wags her tail at everyone there and wines if none of them pay her attention as they help others even after having surgery she still loves them and never fights when we bring her just walks right in happily. Out terrier mix has had to have several surgeries as she believes she is a parkour star and keeps opening a herrnia on her tummy. But they take very good care of her and charge so much less than other vets who don't care and just want money. These amazing vets seem to care first for the animals and do not charge outrageous amounts and will not push you into anything expensive or unnecessary. Also was the only vet that was able to save a rescue from mange that was so sever we didn't know what kind of dog it was. Other vets kept charging for this and that over and over. Here they figured out how to treat properly and in 2 visits she was a beautiful brindle mix. Nothing but love and thanks to the vets here.”

“We brought a rescue kitten here from Porterville that had been caught in a fan belt it had cut his leg and broken his front leg . The Kirkland Foundation helped us with the cost of X-rays . We had an appointment at 11 am they got us right in . We were greeted by a very nice office staff . Taken right into a room where we met with Stephanie . They weighed the cat took him in right away for an xray and we had results in less than 10 minutes . We have never been to a veterinarian office that treated us so nice and cared so much for the kitty . The best news is his leg will heal he might have a slight limp but will be able to have a normal life . Thank you Kirkland Foundation and Palm Bluff Hospital !”

Dr Brar also saw some tiny 2-3 day old orphaned kittens rescued by a friend the same day she phoned for an appointment.....they are now 8 weeks old & in their forever homes.
