“An excellent selection of paint and related materials, plus a team of specialists in their field, they told everything, showed it, mixed it and packed it. I advise business owners to go and see what the service should be like.”
“My favorite graffiti store in the bay. Support your local graff shop and check them out! This place has everything you need to be an all city king of the streets or paint a full color mega burner. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly to people of all levels in the game. They have been supporting the Oakland and Bay Area graff scene for years and are a pillar in the community. They definitely get 5-Trees!?????”
“Amazing customer service!! Mario and another gentleman were so helpful both over the phone and in person!!! Definitely coming back anytime I need help!! Waaaay better than the Concord SW Store”
“I had a very specific color of dark blue I needed to touch up some walls that had been painted 2 years ago. It didn't make sense to paint the entire walls when there were only about 10 small touch ups needed. I didn't remember the actual color and I only had a very small piece I had managed to cut from the edge of an electrical outlet. The place where I originally bought the paint (Lowe's) tried several times to match the color without success and finally suggested I go to a specialty paint store. I decided to try Moyer's Paint Company at 351 Llewelling in San Lorenzo. Enrique and his son, Sebastian, were in the store which was very clean and neat. Enrique has 30 years experience working with paint. He promised he'd get it right. It took 4 adjustments to the original mix he tried. Each time he'd paint a bit of my little chip and dry it to see if it was a match. After the 4th adjustment he was satisfied he'd gotten it right. And he was correct! The color matched perfectly! I was so impressed that I went back to the store a week later to thank Enrique. In addition to excellent personal service and a well-organized store, they have a roomy parking lot making them a very convenient choice.”
“Recently, I decided to freshen up my living room walls, which had become depressingly dingy. I knew I wanted some shade of white, and I knew I wanted Benjamin Moore. First I visited a San Leandro hardware store that carries that brand. The acknowledgement I got from the proprietor felt rather abrupt (although it was better than none at all). I was hoping to check out a full palette of whites, but they only had a single shade of that color, a gallon of which he thrust into my hands. "Do you know what shade this is?" The answer: "White." That can mean many things. I didn't buy there.Next I went to Creative Paint on Davis Street. I was greeted warmly and was directed to the wall containing a wide variety of sample colors, including many shades of white. I chose Swiss Coffee. The clerk mixed it up while I waited and gave me no fewer than three mixing sticks at checkout. He was genuinely friendly, and I'm so pleased with the paint--you really can't beat Benjamin Moore for quality. Look no further than this place when you need supplies for your own painting projects.”

“I made 3 keys at Home Depot, but don’t work. Cole hardware stuff found it issue, and made a key works. The original key is little bent , they can help made a copy key even the original is bent !”
“Have used this place a few times over the years and the service has always been good. Most recently for Benjamin Moore paint for a new home addition. Unfortunately they mixed the second 5 gallon bucket purchased separately the wrong color (BM Swiss coffee instead of KM Swiss Coffee) even after I had asked them to check it against my previous order as a double check. They did end up replacing it for me (paint cost $370) but sadly we had already sprayed the second coat in this different shade, meaning I lost over a day of work and had to repaint the entire job with another coat. Recommend triple checking and suggestion to Mark's - always write the color code/name on the bucket.”
“The most fabulous, friendly customer service one could hope for. I was repainting my office and had brought in a paint chip sample to color-match, that turned out to be too small, and I didn't have time to go back and forth. One of the staff heard my plight and came out to help me see if we could color-match it by sight (he said he was good) from the sample cards on the wall. I kid you not, we found a perfect match (he was good)!!!! I do think the original paint had likely come from Sherwin-Williams, which was a huge help, but seriously, I could not have been more stoked. They helped me make sure I had what I needed, and when I returned a week later for more paint to do a second accent wall, they remembered me by name and were just as helpful. It's so nice to go to a local business where people really care.”
“Love this place. Although it is a small shop they almost always have the odd part or piece that I need for the honey do list. Free parking, attentive service and knowledge and no wasted time.”

“Last week, I purchased a pizza slicer from another store, but it broke when I attempted to use it. I came to Laurel Ace to get a replacement because I know that its products are sturdy.
Marcos, the associate who assisted me, not only directed me to the proper aisle, but, to my surprise and gratification, TESTED the slicer to make sure that it would hold up! As if this wasn't enough, I also told me that I could bring it back if I had any problems.
I ALWAYS get great service at my neighborhood Ace, but young Marcos is among the BEST associates who I've ever been blessed to deal with. You can NEVER lose by going to Laurel Ace, particularly if he assists you.”
“Amber is phenomenal!she is so helpful and kind. I needed help matching paint for my living room and not only was she super friendly about it you can tell she's an expert!! the paint was a perfect match and everything that I asked for.”
“My husband and I worked with Rosie to finalize color schemes for three rooms in our house. Rosie was an absolute delight. We really appreciated her time, expertise, and attention. We’re so glad we made the trip from SF to visit the showroom. Thank you Rosie!!”
“Family run. Very friendly. They've got a pretty large hardware selection and can point you right to what you need, and I often hear them advising customers on how to approach their projects.”
“As a property manager, I've used this Kelly Moore for over 10 years. Now I'm updating an apartment between tenants and it needs the works: fresh paint, but also new flooring, lights/fans, cabinets and a new bathroom - so there's a lot to coordinate and time is always a factor. On my last two visits, Cliff has helped me narrow down millions of shades of taupe to just three in record time (15 minutes!) - any of which would perfectly complement the new living room carpet. I picked the lightest of the three and once it was on the walls it picked up the lighter tones in the carpet, making it pop. Even my painter commented it was a great pairing. I could never have gotten there without Cliff's dead-on color sense. I think he said he was an art major so color is his thing. All I know is he's my ace in the hole. Who needs to pay a designer hundreds of dollars when you've got Cliff's nose for tones? You're the bomb Cliff, thanks so much! I'll be seeing you for my next project.”
“Great store. Helpful folks who know what they are talking about. And great quality paints at a reasonable price. I am through with the big box store for paint. This is the place professionals go. Got some deck paint there recently---spectacular outcome when I did the prep they recommended.”
