“Google asked me how my visit was...and I really had to think about it. When I walked into the East Town Mall Hot Topic....it felt more like a Lukewarm Conversation. Gone were the mall goth employees and black spiderweb windows that would drive fear into Suburban soccer mom's hearts. No longer were there aisles of CDs, records, or headphones to listen to HIM's newest music. Instead, racks of Spongebob and Naruto merchandise lined the middle tables, toys from all kinds of nostalgic 90's movies, and novelty t-shirts that seem more like "tepid topics" than anything current. I walked in very specifically because I had a gift exchange where the person wanted Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...which is at the store in droves. Did I buy something? Sure did. Would I do it again? Tough to say... I can't think with the 13-year-old inside of me screaming that Hot Topic has become what it most feared -a poser.”

“This is a HUGE shout out to Janel! This was my first ever experience buying jeans in The Buckle. Janel saw that I was looking around, trying to find the jeans for us gals with a little more junk in the trunk.You see, I have a friend who told me Buckle Black Jeans = No back gap. (If you know you know).Anyway... I was in a bit of a hurry, and Janel loaded me up with a few options: Buckle Black and The Gabby.Holy Moses & Mother of Pearl. These jeans! Never pushy, always patient. I have enjoyed every piece I have ordered over the years, whether full suits, dress shirts, slacks, or sport jackets. I am a big and tall guy and having my clothing fit for me is a must. Tom James closing is a must. I highly recommend Rob and the Tom James Company.”

If they don't have your size they will find it at another location and ship to your home with no shipping fee. Love this company.”

It is literally like an Indonesian "bazzarre" visiting her shop, but I always leave with a few little gems. This is my go-to place when I'm looking for a low-cost, unique gift for my friends and family. Her website does not do it justice--you need to call and start the conversation of what you are looking for. Here are a few headband/masks that we got.”

“I come to Madison once or twice a year and always go to every eight to get a few things to update my wardrobe. I love the store but my last time, there a few weeks ago, I bought an Evereve long sleeve top which I wore home, (which was about a 4 Hour Car Drive). When I got home, I realized the material even though it was silky soft, my main reason for buying it, was not conducive for a seatbelt. It snagged, apparently all the way home, which I did not realize until I got into my home. It’s ruined, and I will never be able to wear it again. Sad since it was not cheap.”

“I'm not usually one to shop at Kohls, but we were on a mission to try and find 100% cotton sheet sets ( not easily found for lower class commoners j/k). My husband and I have been searching for a good set for a long time, after a little research we discovered that Kohl's actually carries well made 100% cotton bedding! So, stepping into this store for the first time was a lil daunting, I've always heard it was fancy. Not only was it sort of fancy, but I didn't go broke purchasing a new sheet set! I was so surprised at how affordable it was, that we were even able to get a whole other set! The store was very clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and I loved the way they had some things displayed for the holidays! I will definitely be coming back here again!”
