“We had our wedding here 11/5/2022 and we could not be any more pleased with how everything turned out! We didn’t have the best weather but the fact they have the main area plus the sunroom/patio area allowed us to have an indoor ceremony space separate from our dinner area which was a key factor for us while looking for a venue. We will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a venue space in Madison!”

“It's no wonder it's hard to secure a date for the Tinsmith. The venue is gorgeous with industrial chic vibes and tons of plants. Lydia, our venue coordinator, was helpful in answering any and all questions.”

“I attend Blackhawk Church, and we use the Upper House for our downtown location. We were formerly using the Magestic Theater. A little trivia: The space the Upper House occupies use to be a Food Court.”

“We held our wedding reception at The Madison Club and we highly recommend it to other couples! We loved the classic, timeless, and memorable look and feel of the Club itself, central location downtown, and found it especially beneficial that they offered so many wedding services. From catering (cake included in our selected package), beverages, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, day-of getting ready spaces, and an on-site event coordinator. This was very important to us as we didn't want to have even more vendors to coordinate with, and the Club being a "one stop shop" was incredibly helpful in simplifying our planning. They have so many options to choose from so you can offer more classic wedding meals or something a little more adventurous (which we did and loved). The food is truly delicious! They also provide a list of vendors recommended by the Club and we were able to work with a few of them for our day. Alex, our event coordinator, was so responsive, patient, and accommodating throughout our planning process which entailed many emails, questions, and changes :) He was amazing to work with! We were so pleased with how everything turned out and we will cherish the memories made at The Madison Club forever.”

“Enjoyed the scampi, although it was a little spicier than expected. The chicken parm was just fair. The chicken was mostly breading and dry, there wasn't enough sauce, and the noodles were very dense and chewy. My husband and I split both the dishes we ordered and we both only took a few bites of the chicken parm and had the rest boxed up. Not sure we'll get back to it, maybe we'll add more sauce at home and try it again. Service was great. We said that we planned to share our dishes and everything came up "pre-split," with no added charge. We very much enjoyed the complimentary (special occasion) cheesecake!”

“One of my favorite venues, they have incredible lighting for photographers to get very well lit shots. They have seating sections so you can sit and sip on a drink, or a very large dance floor so you can be up and close to the performance.”

“It's a very cool environment ... make sure to check this place out when in Madison. The food was delicious. Our server could have been more attentive, but it appeared other servers were more attentive, and just ours didn't ever check back with us. We were there on a Sunday night ... will have to go back when it's busier to see it in all its glory.”

“Pretty much a standard hotel. In walking through the front door your first hit by the chlorine smell from the pool. On one side is the pool on the other side is the bar. You get to the front desk straight in front of you and they're nice enough. The bar stays open until 10:00 p.m. so those late night drinkers are going to be disappointed. No valet service or bring in the bags to the room for you. You get to the room and it's a standard hotel room, to thin but the tables, TV, mirrors, are new. You get. I never knew water came in white with a fuzzy head, bring your own water. The rooms are very well insulated and soundproof but the windows are not. The interior rooms face the pool and the reception so all the kids in the pool noise came straight up to us. I don't know what the outside rooms are like but the views are not great and the neighborhood is a little dangerous. The mall is right across the busy road but I would take a car and the Chinese grocery store is right next to the mall. It was close to where we needed to go, about 5 minutes away but Madison traffic is a little difficult. We had to travel at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday so we only skid on the gravel once, spun the tires once, got turned around once, and ran over somebody trying to cross the busy road to get into the hotel only once. it's pretty bad.”

“Madison has lots of great music venues but The Orpheum is still a classic fav. Saw a great show with Brian Setzer. Nice that you can bring drinks into the venue. Bar service was good. Ladies bathrooms are small and lines can be long! Definitely a good venue for the right show.”
