“I am a regular shopper at this DXL location in Tacoma. The store is always clean and well-organized. There is a large selection of clothes of different brands and types in the store. The clearance section is a good one- I have found several good shirts and a suit there over several years. The staff members at this DXL location are knowlegeable, respectful, and attentive. Thank you, staff members at this Tacoma DXL location. 5/5 stars!”

“Decent sized store. Not much of selection of hoodies or any outer active wear. Good selection of jean types for decent price. Had some cute pajama pants, but they weren't worth the 35 dollars for a light weight flannel that didn't seem like it would last long and was only the pants. Not even with pockets. The staff was nice and store was well kept.”

“So I didn't want to come here because of the reviews.But I was greeted with kindness, the buyer was cool, and I saw a bit if behind the scenes with their buying process.Part of the reason the process takes time, is they actively look up items on the internet to make sure they can even buy what people are trying to sell. Plus looking at price comparisons, imo to get the going rate for what they are buying.Tbh, this is fair and appreciated. They do in fact look at every item with care and detail.Lastly, they make everything else smooth and cool.I give this place a 5 star. Support your local businesses :)”

“Just came in to vans for the first time at The Tacoma Mall since moving from Seattle and I have to say I recieved the best and most outstanding help from and got to meet Matt as well! They’re super awesome and fun to chat with. Mel helped me so much and brought out around 7-8 pairs of shoes trying to find a good pair for me as I’ve never had a pair of vans, unfortunately they didn’t work out to my personal liking but even than I was beyond satisfied with the amount of help and kindness I got from these two associates. Definitely will be coming back and hopefully it’s for a pair of vans next time! :)”

“My daughter bought a pair of leggings for me at the Chicago store. I anted them so I could zip my phone into the pocket! I haven't been able to wear them more than three or four times. Each time they stab me! There's something not made well with the zipper. It actually hurts and I've never worn them an entire day. We never had a store in Pierce County until now. I still have these awful leggings that cost my young daughter $118 as a gift to me. Items are only refundable within thirty days. I guess I was supposed to get off my rear and drive to Seattle once I came home. No thank you. I hate driving to Seattle. Too much traffic. Now, that they are local, but the $118 unusable leggings leave a bad taste in my mouth. There are much better options with acceptable return policies.... Especially for a GIFT. I don't have my daughters credit card. I have discarded the receipt or lost it after the flight.”

“I walked in on dec 30, 2022 with a low budget, probably only like $35. though i only had so much to spend, i found loads of cute clothing. i found a cute, and surprisingly cheap cropped cardigan and took it to the register. whoever checked me out was the sweetest lady ever. she complimented my outfit and didn't judge when i wasn't sure what to do, as this was my first purchase on my own. EVER. i highly recommend this location if you're into grungy-esque modern clothing styles and aesthetics, and if your not it might be cool to browse around.”
