“I usually dread getting anything diagnosed/fixed on my car because there’s always surprises with cost & things usually aren’t done thoroughly. I don’t know anything about vehicles, so I have to trust what anyone says. That being said, I had a big repair I needed done to my car & I called around to quite a few places until I landed on Ray & Roy’s. They were extremely kind when I called & explained what I thought I needed done to my vehicle. They gave me the best price, got me an appointment, let me know exactly what they were going to look for to repair & potential extra costs, had the parts ready & actually remembered me when I came in (they are booked out a little ways—a good sign!) Shuttled me home & back to the shop. They called when the vehicle was done & I didn’t have to call 3 or 4 times like I have at other places. And the best part was my quote was spot on down to the penny. My car runs great. I would highly highly recommend! I’ll definitely be going back for anything I need done in the future.”

“WOW! Cannot thank these guys enough! My car broke down a few weeks before Christmas. They had to send the part out and it was more extensive than initially thought. “Fantastic! Honda CRV developed a severe shake when accelerating, even at in-town speeds. Internet sites helped us self-diagnose the issue as a CV Joint. Called a half-dozen or more shops around Spokane for quotes to replace the CV Joint. Quoted prices were wide ranging with a couple incredibly expensive (nearly 10X other quotes!) . Visited two places and Louie's impressed us as THE place. The shop isn't fancy but one is immediately impressed that real work is being done and after all that's what counts. Bill drove the car and agreed the CV Joint was bad. Smiling Paul got us an appointment within a couple of days for the repair. Quoted us a very fair price for the work. Work was done in only a couple of hours and Louie's final bill was 25% less than quoted. How often does that happen these days? I won't take my vehicles anywhere else from now on.”

“I had taken a 2005 Subaru Outback XT to Tune Tech due to family recommendation for a pre inspection purchase. Scott and his team were able to fully inspect the car over in two hours time. A few minor things needed replaced but nothing too serious.I ended up taking the vehicle after purchase to another mechanic who I usually go to for my repairs. Had an o2 sensor replaced due to constant stalling and check engine light. (This very well could be from the PCV valve replacement Tune Tech suggested.) I received a call from the mechanic I usually use and he asked me if we planned to sell the car due to massive amounts of rust throughout the chassis and seized bolts as well as rusted out exhaust.This was shocking news to me as I had not heard about the severity of rust from the pre inspection. I felt defeated from just putting $8,000 towards a car and then hearing the news about how rough the chassis/exhaust were.I called Scott with my concern and he wanted me to bring the car back in so he could inspect it himself. After lifting it up and inspecting it, he was positive it was surface level rust. He did state the front control arms and rear lateral links needed replaced due to rust and failing bushings.Scott and his team went out of their way to make sure my car was taken care of from some missed things during inspection. I am very pleased with Scott’s attentiveness to the situation and his actions to make it right. The car now drives solid and I am confident to have my family drive in it again.100% would recommend his shop to anyone who needs mechanical work.Services: Steering & suspension repair”

“out of all of the times i’ve been here, i’ve only had a few off experiences, and even those were handled very well. Bruce especially is great, he is very good at explaining issues in a way that 1. don’t make me feel stupid and 2. let me know exactly what’s going on. Pricing can be a little higher, but from what i’ve seen it’s mostly on par with other places around town (i’ve never had a rebuild or full replacement so i can’t comment on that). They usually work very fast and have never let me be without my car for more than a few days (even if i was quoted a week or two). They’re reliable, fast, and are usually the first place i think of when I have an issue with my transmission. I know i’ll be taken care of, and i know that i won’t be taken advantage of (which for some reason is very common as a woman getting her car worked on in spokane ?).”
