“Highly recommend EFL for anyone at any age or body type. These strength training workouts have been awesome, helped build muscle while getting the cardio in and also helped balance. Dani and Grif offer modifications as needed and correct your form during the workouts to prevent injuries. The best part to me is the relaxed atmosphere - it’s judgement free and everyone is just there to get their best workout in. If you are debating trying it - definitely give it a go!”

“Great teachers, great location, and I love the classes! I on-boarded with one of GLSC's trainers (shout out to Laura, who is a wonderful trainer and one of my favorite teachers!) to get acquainted with the techniques used during the group classes. Classes are capped at 12 participants, which means coaches can have eyes on you to make sure you're being safe and have good technique. The classes really focus on providing cues for getting the most out of each movement and not injuring yourself. The workouts are scalable, so you can push yourself according to what is best for your body on a given day (although I find that the workouts kick my ass - in a good way - on most days) I'm coming from the world of HIIT workouts, and while GLSC's classes certainly include some HIIT components, I appreciate that a focus of this gym involves barbells (for deadlifts, cleans, snatches, OH presses, etc). I'm a fan of this place and I'm happy to call this my home gym!”

“I was unfamiliar with Orangetheory and attended the free intro session because my trepidatious spouse was getting marked results in just a couple of weeks.I've attended two classes, and have signed up for the unlimited package.I found the classes were a great workout and adjustable to any fitness level. The classes I attended had a combination of core, cardio, and strength components.Josh was the "coach". Orangetheory coaches are an amalgam of a personal trainer and a rave DJ.He effectively monitored everyone's activity to ensure they were using appropriate form and fitness level adjustments.In addition he made sure the energy level was upbeat and fun.I found it an excellent way to improve my fitness level, overcoming issues I had with getting started and establishing a routine.”

“Kirkland CrossFit is an amazing gym with amazing coaches! After a long break from CrossFit I recently joined KCF, and I am glad I chose them over my former gym. The coaches (Jamie, Erica, Lenore, Jason), do a great job challenging you but are also a lot of fun and just all around great people. The members are all very welcoming and encouraging too! The only regrets I have is not joining sooner.”

“Turns out the motivation I needed to exercise regularly was to feel like a main character - this place does that and more. Super fast-paced so no chance of getting bored, and the boxing may seem intimidating at first but the instructors are fantastic at walking newcomers through the moves. Besides that, the locker rooms/bathrooms are super clean, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.Highly recommend this place, especially in a city where it's hard to make yourself do physical activity in the dark winter months”

“This review is long overdue. My wife Julie and I have been taking classes from Shred415 in Bellevue since October of 2023. From the very first class we took and stepped into the studio, we were welcomed by a very friendly and professional staff. The owners Alice and Fadil are the most kindest, friendliest, and genuine people you will ever meet. The team of instructors and staff are there to ensure you have the best experience the moment you walk into their door. Vibe is very welcoming, studio is pristine and clean, equipment is well kept, lots of towels and hand wipes to ensure a clean and fresh environment. You’ll definitely get a full workout if that’s what you’re looking for. If that’s not your jam, there’s no pressure at all from the instructors. They just want you to have a good time. The instructors are very positive, motivating, and inspiring and will take the time to demonstrate each exercise to ensure you have proper form and technique and most of all are having a good time. Alice, Fadil, and the entire Shred415 Bellevue team is all about providing the Best & Exceptional Customer Service 100 percent of the time. “This is the only gym you should join! The ownership and staff are amazing. This is by gar the cleanest gym I've ever been a member of. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and the BEST coaches I've ever come to know. The equipment is always clean and ready to use. Some gyms go cheap and have old Olympic bars, weights, dumbbells, kettlebells, etc, not Invictus Seattle. They do a lot for their members. It doesn't feel transactional. The community involvement is heart warming and the members who workout there are very down to earth people. This is not a Bro gym, it's a wonderful community of people who care, share their knowledge, and fitness experience thoughtfully. “I met Luke when I was looking for a personal trainer to help with my rehab after a knee surgery. I wanted to transition from Physiotherapy focusing just on my knee to being able to exercise my full body again. I find it really hard to make time for exercise with a very busy work schedule. Luke has been amazing on this journey, he is very supportive, approaches our training holistically, paying attention to not only the progress in my body but also my overall motivation and wellbeing. Not only Luke but the whole team here are approachable and friendly. The environment is not intimidating at all, they cater for a large variety of clients ranging from professional athletes to those who simply need to learn how to use their body and exercise. “Before deciding on EBCF, I visited all 7 other Crossfit gyms in Seattle. I initially decided that it offered the best programming and seemed to have a good community but I didn't realize the extent to which those were true. During my year and a half with them I developed life long friends and also improved in almost every skill. I came in not being able to do a bar muscle up and now I can consistently do 40 in a workout and it's not like I am new to Crossfit. I have been doing it since 2016, but Rohan knows how to push everyone in the gym. I could not recommend EBCF enough.”

“I've been a member of the Seattle Athletic Club for almost 2 years and it was a huge step up from where I had been going. I've lived in the Northgate neighborhood since moving to Seattle over 6 years ago and had been going to another more commercial gym for a few years but made the change to Seattle Athletic club and don't regret it one bit. The facilities are clean, the staff is so friendly and accomodating, it is never overwhelmingly busy, and the class instructors are so nice and helpful if you are ever wanting to try something new. I really like the community feel too when they have parties for members seasonally where you get to see the staff and members all relaxed and letting loose. The only downside that I can possibly think of is that it is a little more expensive than national commercial gyms but it is well worth it.”
