“Over the past few months I have become acquainted with and assisted by Heather Austerman at your Lakewood Branch. In one instance deposits of more than $16000 were made into my ACU checking account in error by an unknown third party from another state. I asked Heather to help me return those funds. Instead, and with my best interest in mind, she immediately suspected a potential scam. She contacted your fraud department and with their help after a challenging series of events the source of the deposit was identified and the funds were returned to their origin.I was so impressed with Heather's service and personal attention that I later asked if she could help me with an auto lease buyout. I had difficulty obtaining a lease buyout packet from the dealership. Heather called the dealership on my behalf. They had no idea what a lease buyout packet is and she had to educate them! Once that requirement was met Heather converted that lease to an ACU car loan for me AND, at my request, she concurrently adjusted the limit on my ACU Visa card.I've had accounts at another bank for forty years. Never have I received the level of service from them that I received from Heather. Her professionalism, communication style and "pulling out the stops" personal attention were nothing less than exemplary.I want to underscore my remarks by saying that I am a semi-retired professor of marketing and former independent sales and customer service corporate training consultant, therefore my customer service "bar" is very high. She knows her stuff inside out, and was able to tell us the best rates on the certificates of deposit. Additionally, this credit union has a very large and spacious lobby. The folks are very friendly, and the lines move fast. Privacy is of their at most concerned. They have instituted checks and balances to make sure that hackers cannot get into your personal banking.
