Summit Animal Hospital: Bullock Caroline DVM
2708 NW Logan St, CamasI love love love Summit. Dr. Katie and Dr. Tyler are very skilled and thoughtful vets. They are compassionate and always give lots of options. I feel empowered to make the right decisions for my pet's health with their guidance. There's been many occasions where they could have upsold me or pressured me into more and tests as I have one veryyyyy old dog Zelda and one kinda old neurotic dog Argo, but they never have. When I first brought Zelda to Dr. Tyler Vance it was during COVID and she was having heart problems and I thought I was going to need to put her down. Dr. Vance fine tuned her medications (she's on like 6) but once we got her pain and fluid balance issues dialed in my dog is doing really great and she's 17. I got several more great years with my dog due to this clinic. The vets always answer all my questions and are very through. Now onto the other great part, the office staff here is wonderful! I've never had a vet before with great office staff AND great doctors. This is very hard to find. You can text message or email in medication refill requests and they will text you back to let you know it's ready! How easy and wonderful is that?! One time Zelda had a suspected UTI and I think it was Kelsey who walked up and down the street with us and Zelda and managed to catch her urine in a little tray when she squatted. I felt that was above and beyond. That's the level of dedication the staff has. Lastly, and what prompted me to make sure I wrote another review for this place is we went on a family vacation recently and had to bring our dogs with us last minute. We brought some dog antianxiety medicine but not nearly enough. When we got to the vacation house Argo wouldn't stop howling and panting and it was a nightmare. I called Summit and within 2 hours they got medication approved and sent into a local pharmacy for my dog. Wow they saved my entire vacation. Thank you Summit!!!!!!!!!

Happy Barker Kennel
27310 NE 9th St, CamasJan is awesome. She's so friendly and kind to our dogs. Jan keeps the kennel house very clean and climate controlled for comfort. She is always available on major holidays, but can fill up fast. We love that she charges by the night and not by the day like some kennels. She's very flexible with drop off and pick up times. She doesn't mind giving meds while we board. Highly recommend her services.

A Beer at a Time
216 NE 3rd Ave, CamasLet me just say first off, I love pub food! In no way, shape or form is this place a fine dining "special date night" kinda place. Unless, that is, that's your jam. Then, by all means, come, enjoy your Anniversary! I was craving something greasy & filling, and the bleu cheese bacon burger did the trick! Totally hit the spot in every way! I paired it with a side salad & a pint of their Marionberry Cider. Divine!! The portions are big enough for 2 or will at least keep a large man with a hearty appetite from picking off your plate when his meal is gone. The hot wings were the size of my hand and oh so delicious with the sriracha/sweet chili sauce. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a good pub, along with an inviting pergola for outside dining. I'd driven by several times imagining sipping a cider whilst reading a good book or a good conversation with a friend. However, my dreams were quickly destroyed when the train came by and muffled our voices. Shortly thereafter we all began slapping our bodies like we were the new eccentric entertainment for the night. Little did we know, the mosquitos were out in full force! I was literally eaten alive. I'm still itching a week later. I love this place and want to enjoy it more, but may I suggest a bug zapper or low scent citronella candles. I'm not sure about you, but I'd rather not have to douse myself with Deep Woods Off prior to dinner out.

Devs Coffee Bar Camas
1924 NE 3rd Ave, CamasThis is an amazing little coffee house with super nice people! We went every morning while we vacationed in town and it was a great experience every time. The coffee and bagels are excellent. A few people walked in while we were waiting for our orders and the staff recognized them as regulars and knew their orders. If you’re in the area this is one place you have to try.
