Pet Grooming
Pride & Groom
17460 Strauss Ave, SandyTook my dog, a husky, here for the first time on the suggestion of my father. Dropped the dog off promptly at 0900. Received a call at 1200, saying she was done. The owner and groomer were both really friendly. The dog was very well groomed, brushed, dried, and looked and smelled great. Her nails were done great. I will say the place is very busy and I can see why. They did a great job! Yes, your dog may be in a kennel for a short period of time, but they call as soon as they are done. I received great feedback from the groomer and look forward to the dogs next appointment.

Barlow Trail Veterinary Clinic
39231 Proctor Blvd, SandyI recently got a breaded dragon and suspected she was sick. So I took her to see Dr. Houston. I felt very confident in Dr. Houston's reptile knowledge! She was very caring with my bearded dragon and also understood that things can get costly and wanted to be mindful of my budget. I hope not to have to take a sick bearded dragon back there, but if one ends up sick again, I would definitely go back!

Rip City Grill Catering
39750 US-26, SandyWe had rip city cater our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier! Considering the fact that our wedding venue didn’t allow wood chips to bqq the meat was just as good as when I tasted it for the first time! My husband Tanner has worked for Walsh construction for almost 9 years and they have had them cater multiple times throughout his time there and it was always his favorite so that is what made it an option for us to try for our wedding. When we met Clint for a tasting he was so nice and chill and made the process so easy, it was such a great experience for Tanner and I! He just cared about making good food and us happy and that’s all we could ask for! I was so happy to hear all my friends and family say this was the best food they have ever had a wedding! Clint and his staff were amazing! And I couldn’t have asked for better! Tanner and I will definitely be making dinner date nights at his new restaurant in sandy a tradition as he made an amazing impact on our special day! :)PS his wife’s candied pecans are the best!!!

AntFarm Cafe and Bakery
39140 Proctor Blvd, SandyAntFarm is the best youth program I've ever seen in my 77 years. The Cafe is just one aspect that really shines, with excellent service and food that you will keep going back for. I support this group as often as I can. Comfortable atmosphere. You can carry on a conversation, read, use your computer, and make phone calls; but I think a few more sound absorbers would help when it's busy.Vegetarian options: Tell them, they will gladly accommodate most dietary requests, if possible.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids' corner with books and games.Wheelchair accessibility: I see wheelchairs and a blind man as regulars.

Sparky's Pizza: Sandy
38966 Proctor Blvd #8039, SandySparky's in Sandy has been around for awhile now. They've expanded around the area and even into Portland at one point. Just like any place quality has gone up and down over the years, but they've been on a hot streak recently as far as any pizza I've ordered the past few years. My mainstay is the Midtown pizza. It ditches the black olives that are over represented on too many pizzas but leaves the good stuff like onions and bell peppers with sausage and pepperoni. To me it's the best bang for your buck. They also offer slices as well which is always nice especially with their lunch special.
